Holiday Gift Idea: A Mommy Makeover

If you have a woman in your life who has had her last baby,
you may want to consider the gift of a “mommy make over” for Christmas or the
Holidays.
A mommy make-over typically consists of a tummy tuck,
liposuction and a breast lift and/or augmentation. Many moms find that even though they exercise regularly and
have watched their diet to get their pre-baby bodies back, they still have excess skin, droopy boobs and pockets of fat  that won’t go away or bounce back.  Many often consider these evasive surgical means for getting their
pre-baby body back.
However, these days there are many other non and
less-invasive and/or non-surgical methods and options for the mom who cannot
afford or do not want to take the risks of going “under the knife.”
Thermage is a
treatment that uses unique radiofrequency (RF)
technology to heat the deep layers of your skin, while cooling the surface of
your skin to keep it intact during the procedure. This deep heating stimulates your
body’s natural skin renewal process, which helps tighten existing collagen and
form new collagen. Over time, sagging or wrinkled skin is replaced with
smoother, tighter skin; improved tone and texture; and an overall younger
looking appearance.
Laser
Stretch Mark
  is laser stretch mark
removal procedure where a beam of light is used to remove thin layers of skin
around the stretch marks. Instead of burning or cutting the affected skin areas
like other lasers, it uses high-energy ultraviolet laser light to disrupt the
molecular bonds in the skin tissue, which causes the tissue to disintegrate in
a process known as ablation. Once laser stretch mark removal is complete, the
treated area will heal quickly, and new layers of healthy skin will form. The site

Lipodissolve or mesotherapy is a non-surgical alternative to cellulite removal. It involves
the use of a solution that is injected into areas affected by fat and
cellulite. However, the solution that is used in lipodissolve, or mesotherapy,
procedures is not approved by the FDA. There is no solid evidence showing that
lipodissolve injections are effective or safe. As such, most reputable
physicians do not offer lipodissolve (or mesotherapy) treatment.
Velashape is another alternative non-invasive option to cellulite removal that IS approved by the FDA and has been since 2007. It involves the use of infrared light, radiofrequency, massage rollers, and
suctioning to contour the body. Bellyitch will interview a practitioner in the coming weeks to learn more about this procedure. Stay tuned.
Nothing to be done about sagging
boobs except getting cutlets
or water bras
to fake the reappearance of perky boobs once again.
Finding the gift of a new body under
the tree is bound to make many a moms happy!
And as for pure naturalists who reject all forms of methods for helping restore a pre-baby body, they
would be fine accepting their new tiger stripes and altered body as warrior
marks! Grrrr! I’m not mad at ya!!
For me, I’d take a new body to go, please  and thank you! ha!
