Michelle is a trip and wants to remain her fabulous (or shall I say Poshilicious) self while pregnant and after. The stylishly dressed mom-to-be calls on Rosie to help her find a nanny. Michelle wants one who speaks Spanish, is modest (what does that mean?), can cook well, is a bit older and most importantly, “can’t be hotter than mama!” I hear that! Rosie uses her fail-proof Nanny search method which she says she has used successfully for many clients. It includes a rapid-fire speed dating, followed by a more detailed one-on-one interview with three finalists and then a Nanny-Olympics style run-off in the park with a toddler.

The final three contestants to come back for one-on-one interviews were strong. (I noted all the youngi’sh quasi-hot looking ones didn’t make the final cut) They included two Caribbean women, Merle (a Jamaican) and Deborah (a Trinidadian) with only one admitting she can speak Spanish (Debra) and a natural Spanish speaker, Hilda. I loved Merle but she made a very horrible mistake by arriving late and then having the wack excuse that the “shopping was too good.” Who says that? EEK! Deb didn’t even bother to bring a dish for Michelle to try out as per the requirement for the call back. My word! But she and Hilda make the finals, a Nanny style olympics in Central Park testing how each potential hire handles a cranky toddler during a park outing.
