Dinner time can be tough for parents of picky eaters as they struggle to put enough nutrients in their kids bodies. I have such a picky eater in my household but as I watched the video from ABC News about a young girl who’s “pickiness” was so extreme it qualified as a clinical psychological condition called neophobia, I became intrigued. I just figured my son would grow into a more expansive food repertoire as he got older.
It had me wonder if it is a true condition or simply a food preference or just a characteristic many children have but outgrow. Who knows.
Thanksgiving’s coming around the corner and there are tips at the end of this video that may help parents with children that are extreme picky eaters.
