Hot, Haute, Hawt are words to describe the fab and fierce “diaper bag” I got recently in the mail to review. Amy Michelle go totes are for those moms who do NOT want to forgo their fun, flirty and fashionable side while still having to be functional and reasonable and carry a diaper bag.

Nothing about this bag says diaper bag at all. The tassel accents and gold plated hardware give the Magnolia bag in plum its character. The bag is made of man made materials but still looks like soft leather.
The hardware is not as heavy as in other bags but from an onlooker perspective you wouldn’t be able to tell. In fact, the lighter material actually is a plus. I’ve had higher end designer bags that weigh 5 lbs empty. When you have pack diapers, change of clothes, bottles, changing toiletries, a diaper pad and a wallet inside, you’re looking at future back problems for sure.

The Colorado-based Amy Michelle company sells this tote for $134.95. It may be considered pricey from some but considering its multiple functionality as a purse, hand bag and diaper bag all-in-one, it could be a worthwhile investment. It could easily go from work, to errand-running to mommy mode in no time flat. It’s a definite option pregginistas should consider when shopping around for diaper bags. They’d be in the company of dozens of celebrity moms who all own copies of one Amy Michelle bags.
The sample bag I received for the review (see left) is made of soft materials, I would caution loading the bag with too many products so the straps do not wear and tossing it about carelessly to maintain its polish and your investment.
To be socially conscious, the company, which has been featured in endless magazines and sites, also donates up to 5% of profits from each sale benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver. Nice.
Check out Amy Michelle for the other stylish diaper bag options offered.
