Recall that Pfizer pharmaceuticals issued an announcement calling back a million birth control pills that were released in the market but may not work? Time magazine published an article recently asking if any woman becomes pregnant form the faulty pills whether she will be able to sue. This is not the first time there has been a birth control recall. There was one last September. Interesting. I remember a past case where a woman in New Zealand sued the doctor who tied her tubes after she became pregnant, asking for the costs of raising the offspring. I’m not sure how that case ultimately turned out, but what are your thoughts? Do you think a woman who was not expecting a child and relied on the pills would have a case?
