There’s a new eco-friendly bottle-feeding option on the market!
Nashville, Tennessee-based mimijumi makes the cutest little bottle that resembles the breast and is intended to ease the transition for baby from breast to bottle. It’s also eco-friendly. The nylon bottle is free of BPA and phthalates and had a very wide mouth to make bottle feeding easier. The silicon nipple is textured to resemble the real thing! AAAh! Ingenious!
The nipple also has a system that the company says helps baby’s digestion.
It seems to be designed with the baby in mind and to ease infants into a new form of nursing. Our Bellyitch reader sampled the bottle but couldn’t get her little girl to switch over but other moms who have written reviews on Amazon.com and other sites have stated that their picky nursers actually took easily to the mimijumi bottle!
It looks like a wonderful alternative to traditional bottles that are long and angular, and not breast–like at all. It has the most adorable shape that looks like a real boob! Certain to entice and trick any baby into thinking they’re still noshing on mom’s breast. Lovely!
I can’t help but to love this bottle.
The “Very Hungry” sized bottles sell for $14.99 and the “Not so hungry” size goes for $13.00. Both sell online at thenewmomshop.com and other retailers.
