Mom-to-be Tamar Braxton and our past bump watch mom Tamera Mowry-Housley are tapped to be part of a new Fox network talk show featuring an all ethnic cast of women under 40.
The Real, set to be akin to ABC‘s The View and CBS‘s The Talk, will also include singer-actress, reality-TV star Adrienne Bailon, well known for The Cheetah Girls, TV personality How Do I Look?‘s Jeannie Mai and comedian Loni Love.
It is being pegged to be a younger, hipper and sassier version of the older syndicated talk shows. The mix of personalities would make this a good show.
The show, set to launch this July 8, will be on this summer for a trial run on select Fox News-owned stations. If it is successful, it could be re-ordered for a full fall season similar to what happened with Bethenny Frankel‘s talk show Bethenny. The Real Housewives of New York and Bethenny Ever After Bravo reality TV star had a successful summer run on limited Fox stations last summer and eventually got picked up for a full run this fall nationwide, industry rag Deadline reports.
Mowry-Housley will be network mates with her husband, Fox News Correspondent Adam Housley.
Fox also just gave Kris Jenner, mom to our other bumpwatch mom-to-be Kim Kardashian her own talk show as well, set to premiere on July 15.
