We just discovered a new online web series, started this summer, “Home with Robin”, which chronicles the recent life of Robin Wilson, a nationally-recognized eco-friendly and focused designer and healthy spaces interior designer, who moves with her husband to the suburbs of New York from the city while pregnant.
We’re 8 episodes in and the last one featured planning for disaster. In it,Wilson’s young family, which by now includes her brand new baby, had to pick up and move into a hotel after Hurricane Sandy tore up the upper east coast of the US, especially the NYC tri-state area. She mentions being saved by her fuel -efficient Toyota Prius to get around when, back then, the lines to get gasoline snaked for blocks and blocks!
Robin definietly makes the case for Eco-friendly cars!
She offers some insights into her own personal experience and offers suggestions on how to plan for a natural disaster based on what she went thru.
Anyway, check out the latest episode below and the previous 7 episodes.
They’re all pretty short, under 5 minutes but are entertaining, well produced with high digital video quality, and are educational as well as she offers tips and suggestions within each! Wilson has appeared on HGTV, Architectural Digest and Wall Street Journal.
