Are you ready for a pregnancy test that estimates exactly how far along you are?
Procter and Gamble will roll out such a test next wee, September 1, Time magazine reports.
The Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator will let women know if they are either 1, 2 or over 3 weeks pregnant. And it is not new either. The test has actually been used in Europe since 2008. It measures the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a hormone that increases during early pregnancy and is detected in urine. After the fetus becomes viable, and has advanced the hormone drops off.
The Federal Drug Administration approved the test in December 2012 after determining that it was effective and accurate.
