Kim Fields said she directed and edited a 2-hour movie in her last trimester.
The Living Single actress who just gave birth to her 2nd child, Quincy, on December 3rd told the website Zap2it that she started filming her new holiday movie, “Holiday Love” when she entered her 7th month of pregnancy
The sometimes director, known for her role at Tootie in 70-80s hit sitcom The Facts of Life,
“You can’t think about it too much because then you’re like, ‘I can’t do this, I need to sit down somewhere. I didn’t think about it from the standpoint of ‘I can’t do this,’ because I was in great health. When you’re 44 and having a baby, you have to do a check-up practically every hour, so we knew I was safe and the baby was safe. We had a great support team.
There’s a picture of me that I absolutely love, where I had set the shot and my crew went to start getting it ready and I fell asleep leaning on my [assistant director], But I didn’t feel like it was a daunting task. I definitely felt like, ‘I can do this.’
She said after the filming her 8th month of pregnancy was spent directing.
Quincy joins big brother Sebastian as the second son to Fields and her husband Christopher Morgan. Fields’ sister Alexis is also currently pregnant with her second child as well.
