Get the Skinny on America’s Inadequate Work Parental Leave Situation (INFOGRAPHIC)

Children in America cost $12,000 a year, on average, to raise. Sadly, the United States doesn’t guarantee its workers paid parental leave, unlike most other countries that offer generous time off for new parents.

Imagine that!

There are so-called “Third World” and “Developing Nations” that have better parental leave that the US which is one of only three developed nation to not have paid leave. Meanwhile, you might have heard or read that tech companies are leading the charge by voluntarily giving their employees generous parental leave, and some even support egg freezing and adoption leave.
