The iconic week of runway shows, parties, glamour and glitz gave a couple of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums, Rachel Zoe and Jessica Alba, a perfect opportunity to collab.
For Rachel Zoe Spring 2019 Collection show held on Tuesday night, Alba’s new cosmetic line, Honest Beauty, made up the models who walked the runways to Zoe’s show.
“I am so excited to have Honest Beauty partner with the Rachel Zoe Collection since both brands are all about achieving an effortless, chic style” Alba shared about the look that her lead makeup artist Monika Blunder created. “I especially love the look that she did on the eyes using the Honest Beauty Eyeshadow Palette. The palette is foolproof and has versatile shades that are perfect for taking your look from Summer to Fall.”
Honest Beauty lead makeup artist Monika Blunder offered some deets on the look she gave the girls.
“I wanted to create a fresh-faced, Parisian inspired look utilizing monochromatic pink shades that are subtle and allow your skin to shine through,” Blunder said of her inspiration for the look. “I’m obsessed with how chic the lips are in this look – I just added the Honest Beauty lip crayon to the center of the pout and blended outward to achieve that effortless, flushed look.”

Rachel Zoe is back on TV hosting a weekly fashion review program on Lifetime Television called Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe. It premiered on September 24th. It is like Fashion Police meets Watch What Happens Live. But she says it is nicer.
Each week, Zoe and her co-host fashion insider and Vanity Fair‘s Man On The Street, Derek Blasberg, her husband Rodger Berman, and their celebrity friends, meet up to talk fashion and review the week’s red carpet and celebrity street style.
It also reminds me a bit of the show on E! that I loved that Kristin Cavallari co-hosted, The Fabulist. I’m not sure if it returned because I haven’t seen new episodes.
Anyway, back to Zoe. On the second show, the celebrity stylist turned designer interviews another Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum, Molly Sims.
During her 10 questions segment, Sims reveals she is always late and her favorite hashtag is #MomLife. She answers other rapid fire questions. Watch!
This coming Thursday, tune in to see her joined by another one of her friends and another Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum, Nicole Richie!
And another Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Jessica Alba popped in for the first episode.
Watch Zoe chat about the show and why it is different from other fashion talk shows out there now on a recent episode of Access Hollywood.
If you are pregnant this fall and scrambling to find chic outfits to assemble for the season, we recommend looking to the stylish looks that we’ve seen on designer and celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe during her second pregnancy. We selected one of her looks that she wore during her first two trimesters of her second pregnancy.
Below, we offer a look for a 1st to 2nd trimester preginista in three price points: budget, moderate and splurge (high). Take a look and get inspired!

It seems like everyone is getting into the fashion subscription business. However, one of the more successful boxes has been one curated by our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Rachel Zoe‘s style brand, The Zoe Report Box of Style.
For about $349.99 for the year, or $99.99 per quarter, subscribers are delighted with items hand-picked by celebrity stylist, designer and talk show host, Rachel Zoë.
The plus about her box is that there is an item in each box valued at $100 minimum. Friends at The Zoe Report sent me one complimentary box, its Summer 2017 version, to check out and I must say, it was quite exciting to receive the box in the mail.
As a regular reader and subscriber to The Zoe Report, I am aware of the great regular style and trend advice the editors dispensed, so I was prepared to be wowed by the items in the box. As anticipated, each of the items I pulled out of the box met my standards and expectations.
Inside was an amazing array of fabulous items valued at over $400!!! Wow! So it really is worth the value. The box contained:
A cool woven straw Panama Hat from Sole Societywith whimsical poms on the brim, valued at about $30 retail. This hat stylishly shades your face from the sun. It looks stunning over tousled hair, and styled with off-duty outfits.
California brand Raen contributed an exclusive pair of tortoise shell Durante sunglasses (valued at $150). They come in jet black as well for Box of Style subscribers .
A soft, lightweight floralHelena Quinn Kimono (valued at around $165) that can be worn on the beach at the pool, casually with cutoffs on the weekend or over trousers and a light blouse at work. Love! Love!!
BeautyCounter protect sunscreen stick, a lightweight, water-resistant sunscreen formulated with non-nano zinc oxide to blend seamlessly into skin without leaving white streaks, protecting you against both UVA and UVB rays. It goes on sheer. (valued at $32)
Also by BeautyCounter, the Color Pinch Cream B lusher that can be worn on the lip or cheeks. (valued at $37). It brightens cheeks with natural, dewy color. Jojoba ester and carnauba wax condition and hydrate skin, making the smooth, non-sticky formula easy to apply on the go.
The Brave Collection‘ s 14K gold plate compass necklace, with the proceeds going towards helping stop human trafficking. The sterling silver or gold vermeil version cost $115)
Fab! I love it all! What a great deal for such amazing and quality products and I couldn’t help but put them ALL on at the same time! Look!
Check out my official unboxing and I plan to add photos from wearing these items this week to this post later.
Today is World AIDS Day. All around the world and the United States various foundations, philanthropic organizations, companies, governments and other bodies are raising awareness of the ongoing fight against the deadly disease and HIV.
Three of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch Alums, Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani and Rachel Zoe have teamed up with aden+anais baby product manufacturer of warm and cozy receiving and swaddling blankets. They’ve designed three Special Edition Organic Swaddle blankets that will be sold on Alba’s Honest Company website and AdenAndAnais.com for $54 as part of the global initiative (PRODUCT)RED.
One hundred percent of the profits which amounts to 25% of the retail price will be donated to the Global Fund to fight HIV and AIDS.
Together with RED, aden + anais is trying to make the dream of an AIDS-free generation in Africa a reality by 2016.
It has been 10 years since I last posted the annual Bellyitch Most Expensive Strollers post. It was a yearly blog post staple and used to get tons of traffic because, honestly, I think people, generally, are obsessed with knowing what baby items are used and coveted by the super wealthy and celebrities.
Since the last post, a few stroller companies have gone out of business. RIP to Orbit, Maclaren and newer brands 4Moms and iCandy, which were once considered “it” strollers in their day but no longer manufacture luxury strollers.
In 2013, I published the list as part of the Bellyitch 100, a book of the top crib makers, maternity wear designers, stroller makers and baby clothes brands.
Anyway, so I used to publish the Most Expensive Strollers list at a time when I was raising a young family and brands would boast that they were on the list.
My social circle at the time included professional working women, stay-at-home moms, and mom bloggers, several who were affluent and looked at the stroller as a status symbol.
Here is another secret about what happens among moms at the park, at the school pick up lot, in the mall and other social places where mommies congregate. They check out what strollers they’re pushing a baby or child in and make judgments.
Yes, there is a definite hierarchy in quality of strollers and believe me when I tell you that certainly check out what stroller another mom’s child is being pushed in and make judgments.
When I was raising my children as a young lawyer, I went through 6 strollers, which is a low number considering many of my friends at the tiem had way more.
Our first stroller was a Peg Perego which converts from a baby carriage or pram to a push stroller. At the time, it was among the best. Then, when my first born turned into a toddler, we ordered theInglesina Swiftumbrella stroller from the Italian stroller manufacturer. It had a great run!
To pair with the Inglesina, a sturdy Italian brand, we got a lower cost Combi umbrella stroller for travel, a stroller we could beat up which was so much less that so that we wouldn’t mind if it got lost by the airline or damaged during travel.
Then, when I was expecting baby #2, I got as an amazing shower gift from my co-workers at my old job: a Peg Prerego Aria doublestroller!
By the time baby number 3 rolled around, the Inglesina had hit the dirt, we left the Combi on some island we visited for vacation once and we had loaned out the Peg Perego Buggy to relatives who didn’t take good care of it.
The wheels on the double gave out and we opted to give to Goodwill rather than try to fix it or get the company to repair it.
B.O.B.
We opted for a lesss expensive Graco Snug Ride for Baby #3 and aB.OB. jogging stroller (the air-filled jogger stroller with hand activated rear wheel brakes that can ride smooth on any terrain) when I was ready to get back in shape.
Now, while we didn’t get any of them to make a statement, I have had many moms and dads comment on the pricier high end ones while walking in the parks, malls etc. People are always looking for a status symbol and there is a preconception that most expensive means the best!
It’s no wonder, you can see celebrities strolling their children in many of those on this list. The celebrities know that too. That is why Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony sued Silver Cross from publishing on their website an unauthorized endorsement which featured a People magazine photo of them pushing their twins in two Silver Cross prams.
People flock to buy whatever celebrities purchase and that stroller companies know that endorsement mean lots for their bottom line.
Anyhoo, on to the list. Of course, as a disclaimer, this list is not exhaustive. As usual, this list is based on my own personal research and I urge readers to point out other vehicles that should grace this list. Certainly, I would amend the post to reflect corrections.
In the meantime, check out this year’s list of “it” strollers pushed by the most Poshest of moms and celebs out there (I’m updating this list with a few more after the initial post so come back and ping me on Twitter if you don’t see one you think should be on this list)

There you have it! Good luck stroller shop or social climbing, whatever floats your boat!
I was admiring some of the “How to Wear” pins on Pinterest and realized that few of them feature women who look like me and with my body size and shape.
So I decided to fill the void and create my own starting with this post on how to rock an orange off-the-shoulder peasant top.
I styled it several ways and here are a few ways to pull it of.
CASUAL:
Pair it with cropped denim distressed jeans or cuff a pair of jeans you already own. I’m wearing American Eagle but you can get a similar jeans here and for a lower price point here. I dressed it down with quilted black Sperry loafers (similar style) and here is a similar brand for less or (splurge on Tod’s) and carried a signature Dooney & Bourke leather and canvas monogram logo hobo bag (which you can purchase here for just $60!
A simple overcoat completes the casual look during cooler temps, during weekenders or while out and about running errands when layers are essential. Get this exact Amanda Smith creamsicle colored trench from my Poshmark store for just $45. (or similar a little pricieror here by Express)
OFFICE
A grey cardigan by Forever 21 worn over the black Theory pants (get similar by H&M for lower price) with pointy toed patent leather pumps with metal buckle accents (similar) made this look acceptable for the office on casual Friday or any day of the week to be honest.
