Second-time mom-to-be Natalie Portman looked gorge in a bright and sunny Prada gown with white embellishments at the cuff and hemline while on the Red Carpet at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California. She paired the regal dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, a a Tomansino bag, and jewels by Tiffany & Co.

The Israeli-American actress was favorited to walk away with the Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in the biopic Jackie. She didn’t win but she still has the Oscars to look forward to.

The Black Swan actress was joined by her husband, and the choreographer of that movie, Benjamin Millepied. The couple are parents to 5-year old son Aleph Portman-Millepied.

Insider: Janet Jackson’s Son Eissa Looks Just Like His Mama

Insiders report that pop star Janet Jackson is “totally in love” with being a new mom.

After welcoming her son Eissa Al Mana with her Quatar businessman husband Wissam Al Mana on January 3, Jackson is really into her new role

“Janet is getting her strength back and feeling well,” a source told E! News. “She has so much help around her, so that has alleviated stress. She just feels so blessed everything went well and her baby is healthy. It was not an easy pregnancy at all.”

Given that she was 50 during most of her pregnancy, and felt “sluggish” during her pregnancy. she remained under doctor’s orders to rest, as sources previously told E! News, Jackson managed to have a “stress-free, healthy delivery” thanks to her doctors.

“She has some of the best doctors that helped her through it,” the insider added.

The source also shared that Eissa looks just like his famous mom.

“The baby looks like Janet in so many ways with a touch of her man,” the insider noted. “She is totally in love. She is taking time to just be with her baby at this time and that’s all she really wants.”

Some of Janet and husband Wissam Al Mana‘s family and friends have met the baby, but still many others are eager to get their first introductions to the newborn.

This has been a life-long dream of the 5-time Grammy winner.

“This was always her wish to have a child,” the source said. “She is so excited to watch her baby grow.”

The Sweet Reason Drew Barrymore was Late to the Golden Globes

Drew Barrymore traveled to Los Angeles for the 2017 Golden Globes at the last minute for a very good reason.

The actress made sure to spend as much time with her and ex daughters Olive, 4, and Frankie, 2, in New York City, where the family lives.

“I was in New York in the snowstorm last night ’cause I wanted to maximize time with my children,” the actress told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet at the 2017 Golden Globes. “I have a job to do but I chose to be a parent first and I swear to God the priorities paid off, my karma—we got on the plane and JetBlue got me right here. And it was all good. And I played in the snow with my kids all day!

Barrymore walked the red carpet in a Monique Lhuillier ombré metallic Art Deco sunburst embroidered cape sleeve sheath dress and Harry Winston jewelry.

Barrymore is not nominated for an award but is presenting one at the ceremony. She is currently promoting her new Netflix series, Santa Clarita Diet, which premieres next month.

“It’s a really good show for 2017,” she told Seacrest. “It’s got bite, it’s funny…I need light right now but I need something with bite.”

We spotted at least four of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums working the “red carpet” at the The Art of Elysium presents Stevie Wonder‘s HEAVEN – Celebrating the 10th Anniversary at Red Studios yesterday, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.

Kristen Bell opted for a gorgeous copper-colored sleeveless sequined gown by Maria Lucia Hohan and gold Charlotte Olympia heels and clutch.

Chrissy Tegien was radiant in a white Tiered Ruffle Long Sleeve Lace Dress by Jonathan Simkhai. Ashlee Simpson Ross too wore a black lace dress by the same designer, which she accented with smokey eye and a black choker for a Gothic look.

Jaime King went with a lace Altuzarra slip dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, a Sophia Webster clutch, Vhernier earrings, and a Tacori ring.

Kandi Burruss’ 1-Year Old has 300+K Instagram Followers and His Own Baby Products Line

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss‘ son Ace Wells Tucker turned one yesterday and at that tender age, the young squire has over 300,000 followers on Instagram and a successful baby product line named for him, Raising Ace.

Almost All the ‘Laguna Beach’ Female Cast Are Married with Children

Cast photo from MTV’s 2004-2006 Reality TV show Laguna Beach, Today, Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari,Alex Murrell Christina Schuller and Morgan Smith are married w/kids.

I was in my late 20s when MTVs Laguna Beach was on the air and back then the teens who the show followed who were well-to-do inhabitants of Orange Count, California seemed like babies to me. The show was supposed to present the real life version of the then-popular scripted The CW TV show, The OC.

They all seemed so young to me back then and I remember never ever really knowing what Kristin was saying because she talked so fast, and I am a very fast talker myself. Even though I’m pretty much a goody-two shoes myself, I rooted for her against the very perfect Lauren Conrad.

Now that one of the main stars, Lauren Conrad, is expecting her first child, it is interesting to note that almost all of the girls from Laguna Beach (and spinoff The Hill and The City) are married with kids.

Audrina Patridge welcomed her first child, daughter, Kirra Max, early in 2016 and Kristin Cavallari is well ahead of all of them, having given birth to her third child, daughter Saylor James in 2015. She gave birth to her first child, son Camden, in August 2012 and second, Jaxon in May 2014;

Laguna Beach alum Alex Murrel gave birth to a son last July with her spouse and a month later another alum of that show about “the Real Orange County”, named after the hit show The OC ‘s fictionalized portrayal of the posh coastal region, gave birth. Casey Reindhardt and her husband welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Kensington. Christina Schuller (nee Sinclair) welcomed her first child, son Christian Sutton, in 2014. This past September 2016, Morgan Smith (nee Olson) welcomed her second child with her husband, daughter, after giving birth to son Theo in 2014. Jessica Evans (nee Smith) is a stay at home mom to three and is expecting her fourth child, a little girl this March.

Lo Bosworth is the only one not yet married and she is busy managing several successful lifestyle brands, lovewellness, a women’s wellness company and her blog The Lo Down Blog. Taylor Cole married a real estate investor in 2015. No kids yet for the California-based professional photographer, but perhaps this will be the year. Whitney Port also got married and manages a TV and fashion design career and a successful lifestyle brand.

And there you have it! My version of “Where are they now?! ” lol!

Trolls Bullied This Celeb Child for the Complexion of her Baby Bump

Social Media trolls made mean comments about this actress and model’s dark belly and her interracial marriage.

Being a child of a celebrity has its ups and downs. In the case of Porsche Thomas, whose dad Peter Thomas is the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, it turned ugly recently when cyberbullies descended to criticize the color of her baby bump.

Thomas, who is a model, actress, writer, and vegan chef, is expecting twins with her new husband. When she posted a bikini photo of herself lounging by the pool on Instagram a week ago, her comment section was littered with trolls remarking about how dark her belly was.

One troll called Thomas a “nasty-looking thing” while another questioned why “her stomach is so black.”

Several came to her defense, educating the lot that some women’s bodies change color during pregnancy, but even so, why the hate on the darker skin?

They also criticized her for the fact that her husband is white.

“I shake everything off that’s negative,” she told BET.com. “I don’t hold on to other people’s opinions that have nothing to do with me. I laugh at the ignorance. I know it exists, it’s there and it’s sad. The fact that we’re in a [Donald] Trump era made it less funny. But I don’t let things like that bother me. I’m pretty secure in myself.”

Not one to let the haters get under her skin, Thomas responded perfectly to them in another bare bump photo while drinking the proverbial “tea” that one drinks when dropping shady lines.

She told the site that she is focusing on positive things for the remainder of her pregnancy.

“Pregnancy is a beautiful time and I enjoy sharing mine. It’s a shame that people see that openness and view it as an opportunity to bully or criticize,” she said. “However, I never let that bother me. I realize that those issues are not mine and have nothing to do with me. My happiness and confidence couldn’t possibly be determined by anyone externally, especially not on social media.”

She has a lot to be grateful for this past year and the year to come. She told BET.com that she will be the face of Black Radiance cosmetics company’s line for darker complexioned women.

Bump Watch: Ciara is Having a Fresh-Faced Pregnancy

By the looks of her joyful photos she posts on Instagram, it looks as though Ciara is enjoying her pregnancy with her second child, first for her and husband Russell Wilson.

She posted this glorious and happy photo on her social media account this past Monday.

She captioned the fresh-faced selfie “Good Morning ?” showing off her bump in a snug black jersey top. She had little to no make up on showcasing a very fresh face. We’re noticing more and more of her less glamorous shots which is quite refreshing.

She’s a down-to-earth gal, it seems.

Ciara and Wilson, the quarterback for the NFL team Seattle Seahawks wed in a lavish ceremony in Liverpool in the UK last July. She is mom to 3-year old Future Zahir Wilburn with ex-fiance hip hop artist Future.

‘Forty May be the New 30, But Our Ovaries Have Not Gotten the Same Makeover’

Celebrity women like Janet Jackson, Uma Thurman, Nia Long, Kelly Preston and Laura Linney may have a lot of women into thinking they too can have their first child in their later years.

Celebrities are braving the odds, though people should be cautioned that it is very rare, many older celebrities use expensive medical intervention to deliver their own babies and it’s not as easy as some may think.

According to the Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine, a woman in her 20s has a 20-25% chance of conceiving naturally per menstrual cycle. In her early 30s, the chance of pregnancy is 15% per cycle. After 35, the odds of pregnancy without medical intervention are at 10%. After 40, that number falls to 5%, and women over 45 have a 1% chance of conception.

“We see celebrities having kids seemingly without any problems and we have no idea what they went through,” Tanya Selvaratham relays in her new book “The Big Lie: Motherhood, Feminism and the Reality of the Biological Clock”. “We see the end result, but not the struggle.”

Forty may be the new 30, but our ovaries have not gotten the same makeover, columnist Wendy Sachs notes in an opinion piece about the advent of older celeb moms. Even with all the advances in reproductive technology, our eggs have a finite shelf life and the odds of having a child over 40 years old are shockingly slim.

A lot of women who delay starting a family unwittingly fall into the new statistic which states that the number of childless women in the United States today is growing.

About 18% of women in the United States don’t have children by the end of their childbearing years, according to a Pew study conducted in 2008,. In 2008, there were 1.9 million childless women between 40 and 44, compared with 580,000 in 1976.

Janet Jackson is Not the Oldest Celebrity to Have Given Birth Recently

When Janet Jackson welcomed her son Essia this past Tuesday, January 3rd, she did not become the celebrity to have given birth at the oldest age. Jackson welcomed her newborn with husband Wissam Al Mana , an entire 4 months and 13 days before her 51st birthday which will be on May 16.

Singer Sophie B. Hawkins, best known for her hit “Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover,” gave birth to her second child, daughter Esther Ballantine Hawkins, on July 7, 2015. She only had 3 months and 25 days to go before she turned 51 on November 1. In other words, Janet was 50 and 8 months old and Hawkins was 50 years and 9 months old when they each gave birth.

But who’s counting!?

Other celebrity women to give birth close to age 50 include Beverly D’Angelo who welcomed twins Anton and Olivia Pacino with Al Pacino at age 49. Actress Laura Linney was also 49 when she welcomed her son Bennett Armistead with Marc Schauer in January 2014.

After losing their 16-year-old son Jet in 2009, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston tried for a third child. They were successful even though Preston would be 48 years old when they welcomed a baby boy, Benjamin, in November 2010. Geena Davis was also 48 when she too gave birth to twins, sons Kian William and Kaiis Steven, in May 2004. She had her daughter Alizeh Keshvar at age 46.

Finally, Halle Berry said she was not expecting to get pregnant again when she got pregnant with her son Maceo with then-husband Olivier Martinez. She welcomed him in October 2013 when she was 47-years old.
