Red Carpet AMA Trends: Black, Velour and Pink!

I’ve missed a few red carpet coverage because…life but I was quite excited about what I saw this week at the American Music Awards, held at the Microsoft Theater on November 19, 2017 in Los Angeles, California….A lot of pink and black, but not together!

Speaking of P!nk, she and our other Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Kelly Clarkson performed together.

Not a mom but a blog fave, Tracee Ellis Ross killed it as host and the tribute to her mom Diana Ross who took home the Lifetime Achievement Award was all that and a bag of chips! (Do the kids still use that phrase?)

In the mix was her daughter in law Ashlee Simpson Ross, whose husband is Evan Ross, the baby boy of the Ross family. their daughter Jagger Snow stole the show! Ashlee wore a Christian Siriano dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and Neil Lane jewelry.

She was part of the sequins in black trim along with Clarkson who also went bold and brave in a velour and gold gown hugging her gorgeous hour glass figure. I’m loving her sleek blunt parted ombre hair too.

Kelly Rowland too did black with floral in a interesting long split Galia Lahav dress with sheer sleeves, fresh off witnessing Serena Williams‘ nuptials in New Orleans last Thursday. Her good friend Ciara went a bit S&M in an asymmetric black leather coat dress by Alexandre Vauthier haute couture and thigh high boots with wet look hair. Nicole Kidman played in safe in Black as well but looked stunning as usual in an Olivier Theyskens dress, Giuseppe Zanotti boots, a Versace bag, Fred Leighton jewels, and an Omega watch

Opting for the lighter part of the spectrum was Heidi Klum in a pink and gold slip dress with a deep v plunging neckline which is in a vintage Gianni Versace from Morphew, accented with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

Mom-to-be country singer Jessie James Decker did a shade of pink too in a bump hugging off-the-shoulder dress, a shade of pink. Speaking of P!nk, she too went with the color of her name in a hot pink and tulle Monique Lhullier dress and her signature pink hair. Jenna Dewan-Tatum in gold and looked hot as usual in a beautiful Julien MacDonald gown, John Hardy jewels, and Giuseppe Zanotti strappy sandals.

Congrats to our alums Shakira for winning Favorite Latin artist and Carrie Underwood for winning Favorite Female Country Artist.

One of the first celebrities we ever bump watched, Christina Aquilera brought the house down in a tribute to the 25th anniversary of the Kevin Costner, Whitney Houston film, The Bodyguard singing “I Will Always Love You”, “I Have Nothing” and “Run to You” and “I’m Every Woman”. She killed it in my book! Did all the songs justice and Whitney with her voice, range and power! Wow!

Inside Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s Wedding (PHOTOS and LINK)

Tennis Champ Serena Williams wed Reddit Co-Founder Alexis Ohanian in a Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans on Thursday. The photos to the elegant affair were released today, Friday.

The event, held at the, featured an A-List of celebrity guests including her sister Venus Williams, singers Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Ciara with their husbands , Kim Kardashian-West, actress Eva Longoria, Anna Wintour and more.

The reception started outdoors and spilled into the exposed brick wall lined gallery. The bridal party walked down a runway during their entrance. The bride wore a stunning Alexander McQueen princess gown and changed into another shorter and longer feathered Versace dress with blinged out custom Nikes.

Her daughter Olympia with her new husband was featured prominently at the event in a cute little flower girl dress, walked in being carried by Serena’s mom Oracene Price. The couple said their personal vows over a floral arch.

Revived R&B 90s boy band group New Edition performed and Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo did an impromptu performance of “A Natural Woman.” Serena and Alexis performing their choreographed first dance to “Tale As Old As Time.”

Guests walked home with party favors that were tiny tennis trophies with the names of famous tennis greats emblazoned on them. An antique carousel was featured prominently inside the gallery.

The reception included several banquet style tables with the bride and groom sitting in throne-like golden chairs.

Williams took to Instagram on Friday to share a stunning shot of herself in her Alexander McQueen princess gown and the Groom wore Giorgio Armani. You can see the beautiful photos over at Vogue which assembled a lovely slideshow!

#NYFW: Celeb Moministas at New York Fashion Week So Far (PHOTOS)

New York Fashion Week is under way! The annual event features runway shows from designers showing off their Spring/Summer 2018 collections at various locations around the city.

For the uninitiated, it’s a big deal to be assigned a front row seat as those few select spots are reserved for A-List fashion editors a and buyers, celebs and upper echelon socialites.

We spotted a few of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums on front rows in quite a few of the early shows. Second-time mom-to-be Nic ky Hilton was spotted with her sister Paris posed at the red carpet to the Harper’s BAZAAR Celebration of “ICONS By Caribbean Roitfeld” at The Plaza Hotel presented by Infor, Laura Mercier, Stella Artois, FUJIFILM and SWAROVSKI on September 8, 2017 in New York City.

Ciara attended too looking regal in Rasario Pre-Fall 2017 dress and coat and her good pal Kim Kardashian-West stunned in a silver Versace off the shoulder gown.

The two friends met up again earlier in the week at the Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2018 Runway Show at Park Avenue Armory on September 6, 2017.

Past features who are models naturally made appearances and walked in shows. Lily Aldridge walked in Jason Wu’s show and attended his dinner introducing his first fragrance along side Jaime King, another one of our alums.

Alridge also attended Daily Front Row’s Fashion Media Awards at Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown on September 8, 2017 which Kim Kardashian-West also attended with her sister, model Kendall Jenner.

Christina Ricci attended the Calvin Klein Collection fashion show on September 7, 2017.

Inside Serena Williams’ First Week with Baby

Serena Williams is doing “beyond perfect” as she completes her first week as a mom, E! News has learned.

It was announced last Friday that the tennis champion gave birth to her and fiancé Alexis Ohanian’s first child, a baby girl.

“Serena is doing beyond perfect. She feels great and is just glowing about being a mother for the first time,” a source told E! News exclusively Friday. “Her baby girl is healthy and beautiful.”

“Her fiancé is the nicest man alive,” the source added about Alexis. “He really is so in love with Serena and is really supportive not only as a new dad but also as a partner. He is a busy man but puts Serena first in everything he does.”

More than a week before Serena gave birth, Alexis posted on social media a video of him getting her some groceries to fulfill her late-night pregnancy cravings: A bunch of fresh vegetables.

The Reddit co-founder and Serena have been engaged since December 2016. She announced her pregnancy on Snapchat—by accident—this past April.

The source also told E! News that both Serena and Alexis’ family members have been helping out since the child’s arrival and that “a few close friends have seen the baby.” Serena has not revealed her daughter’s name and has not shared a photo of her publicly.

The source said Serena sent her sister Venus Williams photos and videos of the baby after she was born.

Last Friday, after it was reported Serena had given birth, Venus was asked about the arrival of her new niece as she prepared to step out on the court at the 2017 U.S. Open.

“Obviously I’m super excited,” she said. “Words can’t describe.”

The source also told E! News Serena “got some beautiful flowers sent to her hospital from big-named celebrities.”

No names were disclosed. Serena is friends with the likes of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Ciaraand Eva Longoria.

4 Times Celeb Moms Were Mommy-Shamed Recently

It seems like social media is a ripe place for people to judge others’ looks and personal decisions and make them feel bad about themselves for it all.

Celebrity moms are not immune to it either.

Over the past few weeks, several celeb moms have been “mommy shamed” for posting images of themselves online or in social media that got a lot of critical attention.

First up, recently, P!nk was called out for a photo of herself cooking a meal on the stove top while babywearing and her daughter nearby kneeling on the counter right over the stove.

Last week, Ciara caught a lot of heat from commenters on her Instagram when she posted a photo of herself wearing her infant daughter while going down a water ride

This week, it has been Megan Fox’s turn. Several people online fussed at her for posting a series of recent family photos including one of her son in a Queen Elsa Dress.

Finally, Beyonce was called out for drinking wine while out on a date night with her husband by people who criticized the breastfeeding mom for passing on the alcohol to the twins.

We guess with the access celebs give their fans to social media and with letting them into their personal lives comes unwelcome and unsolicited opinions too.

Inside Serena Williams’ 50s-Themed Baby Shower (PHOTOS)

Serena Williams celebrated the impending arrival of her first child at a celeb-studded 1950s themes baby shower at Nick’s 50’s Diner in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums Ciara and Kelly Rowland; and our fashion style faves Eva Longoria and La La Anthony, and her fellow Tennis star sister Venus Williams were among the guests that came outfitted in the theme and took turns taking pics in front of a cherry red truck parked in the front of the restaurant.

Serena Williams had a star-studded baby shower and the tennis champ opted to give her pals a blast from the past with her 1950s-themed celebration today at Nick’s 50’s Diner in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Williams and her fiance Alex Ohanian are expecting their first child this Summer.

Several of the party goers took to social media to post images and video from the fun-filled party and most hashtagged the event: “#ShakeRattleandRoll2017.” Check out some of the pics:

Along with many other dads who became father’s for the first time over the past year, several celebrity dads did also. Here is a rundown of the ones that we’ve featured on the blog:

The newest new dad is George Clooney, who welcomed twins Ella and Alexander with his wife Amal Clooney earlier this month.

Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo welcomed daughter Dusty Rose at the end of September.

Three months after welcoming marrying, The Walking Dead alum Stephen Yeun announced his photographer wife Joana Pak were expecting and welcomed their son Jude Malcolm Yeun this past March.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is a new dad to daughter Sienna Princess Wilson with wife Ciara. He is also a step-dad to Ciara’s son Future Zuhair with her ex-fiance Future.

When reality TV star and wrestler Brie Bella gave birth to her first child, daughter Birdie Joe Danielson, she made her hubby, WWE superstar Daniel Bryan, a first time dad too.

Bradley Cooper and his long time girlfriend Victoria Secret model Irina Shayk became first time parents when they welcomed daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper in April.

Comedian Russell Brand became a first-time father back in November when his fiancée Laura Gallacher welcomed their daughter Mabel

I must admit that I enjoy that the Bey Hive is on patrol to shut down critics of Beyonce in the comment section to articles about her like this one below about her first major 3-hour shopping trip after announcing her news. Go Beygency, Go!

Oh and in other pregnant celebrity news, Tori Spelling posted a photo of herself at close to term on her social media account.

And after having very public and rumored relationships with a bunch of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums like Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Lachey, Jessica Biel, and Adriana Lima, ex MLB star Derek Jeter and his Victoria Secret swimsuit model wife Hannah Jeter are expecting their first child together since marrying

If you were browsing the racks at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills Thursday, you were in some special company.
Fresh off her 2017 Grammys performance and wins, Beyoncé made a rare public appearance at the luxury department store during its regular open hours and spent about three hours shopping.
The 35-year-old pop star, who is expecting twins with husband Jay Z, dressed casually in a black printed T-shirt and shorts and white sneakers and was accompanied by a group of bodyguards.
She did not buy children’s items. She walked through several floors, looking at designer gowns, purses, jewelry and shoes. She purchased a $1,225 pair of redIsabel Marart Laith leather knee-high boots, a pair of Ulla Johnson shoes and Nike sneakers, a source told E! News exclusively.
Beyoncé spent about 20 minutes in the store’s Barneys Bungalow, a specialty space where gowns from Prabal Gurung, J. Mendel, Lanvin, JC Obando, Monique Lhuillier, YSL and Manolo Blahnik and other designer brands, as well as luxury tuxedos and accessories, are displayed in honor of Hollywood’s award season. Several racks of dresses and other items were brought out for the singer, who sat on a light green couch.
“Beyoncé tried on several dresses but began not to feel well and was tired,” the source said.
“She seemed very nice and was very casual,” the source added about the singer’s visit. “She had several bodyguards around her and everyone in the store was chatting about her being there.”
The source also said Beyoncé has bought children’s items at Barney’s in the past.
The singer announced her pregnancy on Feb. 1 via a baby bump photo posted on her Instagram page. She followed it up with a full album of maternity pics, which also featured her and Jay Z’s 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Last weekend, Beyoncé showcased her baby bump publicly for the first time, at the 2017 Grammys, where she won two awards and gave a much-talked about maternity-themed performance.

Super Bowl Showdown: Gisele Bundchen versus the ATL Divas

The big game is tomorrow evening. Who are you rooting for? The 4x Super Bowl champions New England Patriots or the Atlanta Falcons. I know for certain our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Gisele Bundchen will be Team Patriots. After all, she is married to its longtime famed quarterback Tom Brady.

I’m not for certain, but I will take a guess that the scores of other celebs we’ve “bumpwatched” who live in the Atlanta area will be cheering for their home team.

Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Eudoxie Agnan, Ciara, Keshia Knight-Pulliam, Rasheeda and Tamara Braxton-Herbert all hail from the ATL.
