WHCD: Our Fave Celeb Moms head to Tonight’s #NerdProm

Tonight is the White House Correspondents Association Dinner, also known as “Nerd Prom. ”

It’s a time when DC hosts Hollywood A-Listers and journalists that cover the White House at the annual event thrown by the membership group of journalists and TV correspondents.

During the cocktails then dinner event, DC’s political elite mingle with Tinsel Town’s.

Traditionally, the President of the United States speaks and roasts the media, political allies and foes and blend in pop culture.

This will be President Barack Obama’s last Nerd Prom.

Celebrities come as guests of various news organizations.

Tickets are coveted and hard to get. I’ve never even ever bothered to try to network my way into an invite.

You practically have to pledge your first child.

This year, I noticed that frequent Nerd Prom goer Kerry Washington is a guest.

She posted a photo of herself inside the White House in front Hillary Clinton‘s First Lady portrait.

Also, noticed that our other Bumpwatch alum Tamera Mowry-Housely and family are also in town. I’m assuming she will be a guest of her husband, FOX News Correspondent Adam Housely.

It appears Gabriel Union is in town too based on her Instagram photo today tagged “The White House”. Looks like the annual Tammy Haddad Garden brunch that takes place the morning of the event.

Hmmm…I wonder if she will be in town too.

After Parenting 6 Kids at Age 40, Tiny Explains Why This Pregnancy is Different

Compared to her previous pregnancies and other kids ,VH1 Reality TV star Tameka “Tiny” Cottle-Harris is going to raise her 7th child a whole lot differently.

And it will start in the womb, the petite mom-to-be explained in a recent interview with Rolling Out.

For one, her husband, rapper T.I. [real name Clifford Joseph Harris] is reading to the baby while in her womb and she is doing a lot more reading about pregnancy, child birth and rearing.

“It’s different,” Cottle-Harris told the site. “With all the other kids, [T.I.] was there and involved and there with me. But this one is a little different.”

She credits maturity for the growth. “[T.I.]’s not afraid to go all out the box and do things like singing to the baby and reading to the baby… So, I had to make sure I’m reading to the baby, so I went and bought all these books, and we’re just about done with those books, so I need more books.”

The former talk show host said she also plans to take her baby with her on the road and credits our other Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum, Tamera Mowry-Housley for her decisiosn.

“I went to The Real and Tamer always has her little baby there,” Cottle-Harris said. “And I’m like, yeah, I’m going to be doing that one day, you know going to work and having my little one with me.”

She also explained to the magazine why she considers the number 7 to be lucky for her.

Well, seven is like my favorite number. For one, I’m born in the month of seven. My birthday is 7/14, so I write 7/ 7, 7, which makes up 14. It’s the number of God. And it’s my seventh child. So, you know it means a lot. I’m very big on numbers and seven is my number.

And guess what? Currently, she is in her seventh month of pregnancy! It works!

T.I. and Tiny are expecting their third child together. The couple currently parents six kids.

Shocker: RHOA’s Kandi Burruss shared a Breastfeeding Pic on Instagram and Did NOT Get Shamed

Yippeee! Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss posted an Instagram photo of herself multitasking and nursing her son and didn’t get any hate! Yes, that’s news.

It is also progress because each time a celebrity woman (like Jessie James Decker, Alyssa Milano, and others) has done that she’s gotten plenty of shame comments from people who think it is too much to share and should stay out of public light, or is the baby being used for attention or vanity.

Not this time! Perhaps it helps to cut off the haters in the caption like Burruss did.

Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker welcomed their son on January 6. This is the first child together for the couple that married in 2014.

The Bedroom Kandi entrepreneur is mom to 13-year old daughter Riley and Tucker has a 19-year old daughter, Kaela, both from previous relationships.

For the record, Tamera Mowry-Housley got lots of love from the time she posted a breastfeeding photo.

Kelis Enjoys a Well-Deserved Baby Shower after A Hectic Book Tour Promo Month

Second time mom-to-be Kelis got treated with her guests to massages at her baby shower. The “Milkshake” singer, who is a culinary school grad and cook book author, recently celebrated the impending birth of her next child.

“Thanks the @manlyhandz my girls were thrilled and relaxed at my shower! We had such a good time ! Thanks everyone xoxo,” she captioned a photo of herself with the proprietors of a traveling California massage company, Manly Handz,which boasts celebrity clients including Holly Robinson Peete, Brooke Anderson, Amber Riley, Ali Landry, Kimberly Elist, Nicol Ari Parker among others.

Though heavily preggers, Kelis just came off a pretty hectic month promoting her new book, “My Life on a Plate“.

She also recently, she hooked up with our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tamar Braxton-Herbert on the FOX panel talk show the two co-host The Real.

This is the Pumpkin Patch that Celebrities Take their Kids to Each Year

This is the last week and weekend before Halloween to hit up the pumpkin patch and score yourself a rad pumpkin to carve or set up on your porch. Out in Hollywood, Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Culver City, California is a favorite spot for celebrities.

Each year several celeb fams head out to the patch and are either photographed by the papps or share their own photos in social media.

Bellyitch Bumpwatch we spotted this year include alums Heidi Klum, Kendra Wilkinson, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Gwen Stefani , Kourtney and Kim Kardashian and Rachel Zoe at the patch with their kids. We also saw first time mom-to-be The Walking Dead star Alanna Masterson, who plays “Tara Chambler” on the hit AMC show posing a patch; and late night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel and his daughter Molly.
