For the first time ever, a pregnant dancer will take the stage on Dancing with the Stars!
For this Tuesday’s broadcast of the 10th Anniversary special of the hit prime-time TV dance competition, returning pro-dancers and celebrities from past seasons will perform including Season 14th’s Katherine Jenkins.
The British opera singer is 4 months pregnant with her first child, a girl, with husband since last September 2014 Andrew Levitas.
“Thankfully I’ve been very active in my pregnancy so far, so when I got the invitation to perform on the show it was too much of a wonderful opportunity to pass up,” she told PEOPLE. “Obviously we had to consider certain things with the choreography, but everyone is looking after me and she’s getting a lot of attention! Even the wardrobe department have kindly offered to make me a sequin sparkly dress.”
We will see Jenkins dance in a short fringed frock with Mark Ballard.
