Congratulations to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss on expecting her first child with husband Todd Tucker
“We’re so thrilled to announce the news of our bundle of joy, it’s a dream come true,” Kandi told E! News exclusively.
She also said that her daughter Riley from another relationship and Tucker’s daughter Kaela, also from a prior relationship, are excited about becoming big sisters.
This past April, Burruss announced after struggles to get pregnant she had decided to turn to in vitro fertilization to conceive.
The couple met during filming when the ladies of the show took a trip down to South Africa and Tucker, then worked as a freelance producer for the show.
He eventually became a regular on the reality TV show.
They married last April 2014. The planning and days up until the nuptials and the wedding itself was the subject of a short one season docu-series spinoff on Bravo TV.
