VETERANS: Here are 30 Places to Eat for FREE on Veteran’s Day

Happy Veteran’s Day and Thank you to all Servicemen and women who volunteered their freedom to join the military and fight for civilians at home.  As per usual each year, several restaurants and eateries offer free meals, desserts and appetizers to veterans and their families. Unless stated, these deals are for November 11 only and ids are required.

Applebee’s: A choice of seven different meals on the house (beverages and gratuity not included).

Bob Evans: Free all-you-can-eat hotcakes.

California Pizza Kitchen: A free entrée from special menu.

Carraba’sFree appetizer of your choice for active duty service members and veterans. Military ID or proof of service . Monday Nov. 9-Sunday, Nov. 15 –

Cheeseburger in Paradise: Free All American Burger and fries.

Chili’s: Free meals from a special menu.

Cracker Barrel  Cracker Barrel is giving veterans a Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert… for free!

Denny’s: Free build-your-own Grand Slam Breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon.

Friendly’s: Free Big Two Do breakfast or free All American Burger meal for lunch or dinner.

The Greene Turtle Free meal from a select menu for veterans and service members with military identification at participating locations. Limited edition, commemorative long-sleeve Greene Turtle t-shirts will also be available to all guests for purchase for $15, while supplies last, and 100 percent of sales from the t-shirts will be donated to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

Golden Corral: A “thank you” dinner and fundraiser will take place on Monday, November 17, and veterans and active-duty military are welcomed to a free buffet and beverage from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Handel’s Ice Cream: Free single-scoop ice cream cone.

Hooters: Free entrée (up to $10.99 value) with any drink purchase.

IHOP: Free order of Red, White, and Blue pancakes anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Krispy Kreme: Free small coffee and a donut.

LaMars Donuts: Free 12 oz. coffee and a donut.

Little Caesars Pizza Lunch Combo to all US Armed Forces veterans and active military members between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. With proof of military service, at participating stores nationwide. Call ahead to verify participation.

Olive Garden: Free entrée from special menu.

On the Border: Free “create your own combo” meal.

Red Lobster  Active duty military, reserve, and military veterans can stop by Red Lobster and get a free appetizer or dessert on Monday, November 9 through Thursday, November 12, 2015.

Red Robin Free Red’s Tavern Double and Bottomless Steak Fries for all Red Robin guests with a military ID or proof of service.

Ruby Tuesday  Veterans, active duty, and reserve service men and women can visit Ruby Tuesday on Veterans Day to get a free appetizer. Choices include any of the following: Thai Phoon Shrimp, Shrimp Fondue, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Queso & Chips, Tempura Green Beans, Cheese Fries, Classic Quesadilla, Thai Spring Rolls, Fire Wings, Fried Mozzarella, Four Way Sampler, Big Dipper Sampler, Crispy Chicken Bites, Barbecue Chicken Flatbread, Shrimp Po’ Boy Flatbread, and 6-Cheese & Tomato Sauce Flatbread.

Shoney’s: Free All American Burger.

Sizzler  Participating Sizzler locations (listed here) will be serving veterans and active military members a Veterans Day free meal You’ll get to choose from a 6 oz. FeedbackTri Tip Steak, single Malibu Chicken, or Half Dozen Fried Shrimp. Individuals will also receive a free coffee, tea, or fountain drink. Bring proof of service such as your U.S. military-issue or veterans group ID card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a photograph of yourself in uniform, or wear your uniform to your local Sizzlers.

Smokey Bones Bar  On Wednesday, November 11, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill will have a special Veterans Day menu that veterans can use to order a free meal.Details on the Smokey Bones Veterans Day Free Meal Be sure to check with your local Smokey Bones to ensure they’re participating before you visit.

Starbucks: Veterans and active military and their spouses each get a free tall coffee.

TGI Fridays: Free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Texas Roadhouse: Free lunch from special menu.

Tim Hortons: Free donut, anytime during the day.

Zoes Kitchen Free Veterans Day Meal  Former and active military members who show military ID can visit Zoes Kitchen for a free entree. Any friends and family members that come as guests can get 10% off their own meals. Be sure to call ahead to ensure your local Zoes Kitchen is having this offer
