After adopting two children, Katherine Heigl is going to be a mom — again!
The former Grey’s Anatomy actress confirmed to PEOPLE magazine that she and Josh Kelley, her husband of eight year, are expecting the baby boy in January.
This will be their third child, though it is Heigl’s first pregnancy.
Once news broke, the couple took to social media to express their joy and excitement.
“Well I guess the cats out the bag!!!! We’re so excited people!!! What an awesome journey !!! Can’t wait to hold this little nugget,” Kelley captioned a post with the announcement on Instagram.
Heigl also tweeted a photo of herself getting the sonogram, encouraging fans to take a look at her blog, where she plans on sharing her pregnancy experience.
