Speaking of spectacular underwater maternity portraiture, singer Alanis Morissette did her own recently and shared it on her Instagram account. In the photo, the “Jagged Little Pill” award-winning singer is nude cupping her breast submerged in a pool with her hair flowing upwards.
It’s an absolutely beautiful rendition of the now famous and unique way to capture your body while expecting.
The platinum-selling artist well known for her hit angst song “You Oughta Know” quoted her 5-year old son’s thoughts about women in the caption of the image. “You have to be extra gentle around ladies because they are the most helpful people in the world ’cause they make persons”-Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway” the caption read. Smart boy! Smart mom!
The family, which includes dad Mario “Souleye” Treadway are expecting the new arrival this year.
