Rest In Peace to 23-year old Valerie Fairman, one of the stars of the MTV’s reality TV show “16 and Pregnant.”
Fair man was found deceased in a friend’s bathroom early Thursday morning.
Fairman’s mother told TMZ that “the friend repeatedly called for Valerie, who was in the bathroom, but she did not come out.”
That friend eventually broke down the door and discovered the Fairman’s body.
She leaves behind her 7-year old daughter Naveah.
“We are saddened by the news of Valerie Fairman’s passing,” an MTV spokesperson said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.”
“16 and Pregnant” was a documentary-style reality show that aired from 2009 to 2014 on MTV. Each episode showcased a different teen dealing with pregnancy. The show spawned three spinoffs, “Teen Mom,” “Teen Mom 2” and “Teen Mom 3.”
The cause and manner of death are still being investigated but Fairman apparently had a long history of drug abuse.
