The 4 MakeUp Items To Carry In Your Purse to Give you A Fresh Face in Minutes

Whether you’re expecting, a brand new mom or even a veteran mom, you know how difficult it can be to look fresh faced to the world when you’re out at about, dropping off the kids, running errands or just trying to live your best life.

Many times, you do not have time to put on a full face of make up in the morning. Most don’t even want to but the studies show that if you look your best, you’ll feel better. Not looking as ragged as you feel can actually work wonders to lift your mood and get you through the day.

Also, it really doesn’t take a lot of time to assemble a decent-looking put-together face. It only takes 4 items of make up, to be honest.

Carry the following:

  1. A bronzer
  2. Blush
  3. Eyeliner
  4. Lip Gloss.

The bronzer in a shade one step darker than your actual complexion can work wonders to add some glow to your face. If you have the spray on primer, even better to let it last longer.

If your goal is just to pick up the dry cleaning and not look like death in case you run into your next door neighbor, then you don’t even need that. I like Skindanavias..You can find my review here.

Next, blush. I discovered it recently and believe me when I tell you, it’s the best for making you look upbeat and rosy. Smile hard and then add a few strokes to the apple of your cheek, stroking upwards and you’re good to go. That entire process won’t even take you one minute.

Then, line the eye. You’d think mascara would be needed to bring your eyes alive. Wrong. Lining your upper and lower lid in a dark color like black, dark brown, navy blue or grey can really open up some sleepy eyes.

If you have bags from not sleeping much, you might want to dap some concealer under there before adding the bronzer mentioned above and work it in to blend.

Finally, a lip gloss or even a matted lip stain in nude or neutral will be the perfect top off this fresh face look. As a bonus, you can add some mascara to further enhance your eyes or extend your brow line with a brow pencil or angled brush and powder. Not needed but can also help.

You wouldn’t even need a big make up bag to store all of these items.

They could fit in a zip compartment inside your handbag or in a section of your glove compartment box. But if you are going to invest in a make up bag for these items and your other stuff, go with something with some personality. I suggest these from our partners on Shopstyle:
