Kerry Washington is probably term and set to deliver her baby any day now, according to speculators.
The third season of her hit show Scandal just wrapped and was shortened from 22 to 18 weeks to accommodate the star. It makes sense then that her due date, not previously announced, is upon us.
And then she missed the season wrap party.
“Super sad to have missed the #ScandalWrapParty a night out with my #Scandal fam but very grateful to be getting some much needed rest! Xo,” Washington tweeted on Twitter this Sunday, March 31.

As the sleuths at the website CocoaFab.com reported, Washington also missed an event where her husband Nnamdi Asomugha got honored for his philanthropic efforts by rapper Common‘s organization, The Common Ground Foundation‘s Gala of Gratitude at the Millenium Park hotel in Chicago, Illinois.
(Side note: It could have been an awkward moment too considering Washington and Common were once romantically linked. Anyone ever notice that Common’s video for “I want you” featured three women he reportedly and really dated in the past: Washington, Serena Williams, and Alicia Keya.)
Anyway we can’t wait to hear news about the birth of new baby Asomugha.
