Despite the fact that Friday night Nicki Minaj referred to her rapper beau Meek Mill as her “baby father”, it’s pretty much safe to say that the “Anaconda” hip hop star was not serious.
During her Friday, August 7 tour stop and performance in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, the Trinidadian American pop star introduced one of Mill’s cameo performances by saying, “Make some noise for my baby father!”
Maybe she did it to squash rumors that the two had split after the fall out surrounding Mill’s (real name: Robert Rihmeek William) beef with Minaj’s label mate and frequent collabo partner rapper Drake.
She retweeted a fan who congratulated her on the baby news, adding a bunch of crying/laughing emojis, which suggested it was a joke.
Besides, Minaj has already said she is not interested in being a “baby mama” on purpose.
“I definitely will be married before I have my baby,” she told Complex magazine last November 2014. “I’ve always felt like that since I was young, my mother always put that in my head.”
