Bristol Palin and her husband, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, are expecting their second child together, Palin’s third.
The couple announced the news with a photo this past Friday, December 9 of Palin, husband Dakota Meyer, and the Dancing with the Stars alum’s 1-year-old daughter, Sailor, as well as Bristol’s 7-year-old son, Tripp, who she shares with ex-fiancé Levi Johnston.
“We are so excited to announce that our family is expanding!” the couple said in an exclusive statement. “God has blessed us so much; we are thankful for His grace and new beginnings. A springtime baby in the Meyer home and we can’t wait!”
The duo married this June 2016 but after the couple got engaged in May 2015, then called off the wedding. When paternity tests showed that Meyer was Sailor’s dad, he filed for joint legal and physical custody of the newborn, as well as child support from Bristol. Shortly after, they rekindled their romance and got hitched!
Palin is the eldest daughter to former Alaska Governer Sarah Palin.
