Congratulations to former reality TV show star Bristol Palin on the birth of her third child, a daughter, with her husband Dakota Meyer.
The daughter to former Alaska governor and US Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin shared the news on her Instagram account. “Welcome to the world Atlee Bay” the former Dancing with the Stars alum captioned a photo of herself cradling her newborn with her husband by her side.
Bristol Palin and her husband, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, are expecting their second child together, Palin’s third.
The couple announced the news with a photo this past Friday, December 9 of Palin, husband Dakota Meyer, and the Dancing with the Stars alum’s 1-year-old daughter, Sailor, as well as Bristol’s 7-year-old son, Tripp, who she shares with ex-fiancé Levi Johnston.
“We are so excited to announce that our family is expanding!” the couple said in an exclusive statement. “God has blessed us so much; we are thankful for His grace and new beginnings. A springtime baby in the Meyer home and we can’t wait!”
The duo married this June 2016 but after the couple got engaged in May 2015, then called off the wedding. When paternity tests showed that Meyer was Sailor’s dad, he filed for joint legal and physical custody of the newborn, as well as child support from Bristol. Shortly after, they rekindled their romance and got hitched!
Palin is the eldest daughter to former Alaska Governer Sarah Palin.

Second-time grandmom-to-be Sarah Palin finally publicly addressed her daughter Bristol Palin‘s second unplanned unwed pregnancy this weekend during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning .
Correspondent Tracy Smith asked the politician-turned-reality TV star if she ever imagined Bristol would be in that same situation she was in about 4 years ago when she was expecting as a teen for then boyfriend Levi Johnston.
Heck, no,” the former Governor of Alaska replied, adding, “because being a single mom is, oh my goodness, my heart goes out to the single parents. But my enormous admiration for what it is that they’re able to accomplish doing double-duty. And I watch Bristol do double-duty all the time, you know, with her little boy, Tripp.”
Bristol and Marine Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer were scheduled to marry but the couple called off their nuptials less than a week before walking down the aisle, then Bristol announced the pregnancy shortly thereafter.
The former FOX News correspondent addressed her critics.
“Of course, there are those who say, ‘Come on, this goes against everything you stand for,’ In response to Smith pointing out the inconsistency of her position from her familial situation, Sarah Palin added, “Well, the cool thing about puttin’ your faith in God is, He certainly is a God of second chances – and third, and fourth and fifth chances…I screw up all the time.”
But now, the former Republican Vice Presidential Candidate is embracing the expectant arrival and actually counting down.
“I can’t wait for about 45 more days, and I’m gonna have a little baby granddaughter – and I’m happy about it,” the former vice presidential candidate said Monday, adding that she “absolutely” considers the new addition a blessing.

Bristol Palin is expecting her second child.
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant announced the news which she described as “disappointing” in a blog post today:
“I wanted you to be the first to know that I am pregnant,” she wrote on her blog. “Honestly, I’ve been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one.
“I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you,” she added.
The former two-time reality show star and memoir author continued, “at the end of the day there’s nothing I can’t do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace.”
Bristol, whose mom is the former Alaska governor and U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, was engaged to U.S. Marine veteran Dakota Meyer. The two called off their wedding days before the blessed event.
Bristol was thrust into the limelight when her mom, a staunch family values advocate, had to announce her pregnancy on the first day of the Republican presidential convention. She later got engaged to Levi Johnston who is the father to her first son in December 2008. They broke up a few months after, however.
She did not disclose who is her second child’s dad is.
