Which Celeb Mom Does Halloween Best? Heidi Klum, Kelly Ripa, XTina, Fergie, Kim K or Bethenny?

Some celebrity moms are known for their annual elaborate Halloween costumes. We thought we’d share with you our faves and ask which of the following celebrity mom which we’ve featured and “bump watched” in the past does the best Halloween costumes.

Heidi Klum hosts an annual costume gala and succeeds in out besting every person there in her very over-the-top get ups. When she and Seal were married, they did couple costuming with the matching gorillas topping it for me.

Kim Kardashian West usually goes with a sexy version of whatever costume she’s in…no surprise there. Her Wonder Woman, Little Red Riding Hood, Mermaid and Cat Woman costumes were saucy.

When married to ex Jordan Bratman, the diva with powerful pipes Christina Aguilera dressed in sexy get ups and went as a sexy nurse, sexy cop, and sexy pirate wench. Once she did spooky with a ghost bride and groom.

Meanwhile, annually on her daytime talk show Live! with Kelly and Michael, and before that Live! with Regis and Kelly funny host Kelly Ripa goes as other celebrities. Most famously, she’s dressed as Sarah Palin, Honey BooBoo, Snooki, Cher, Duck Dynasty boys and more recently with her co-host Michael Strahan or Nick Lachey she’s gone as the most talked about couples: Beyonce and Jay Z, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

Fergie also goes way over the top and went as a Toddler in a Tiara one year, Cleopatra another then recently she and hubby Josh Duhamel have done spooky going as Elvira and RiffRaff from the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Day of the Dead figurines.

No one super pink and elaborate hot and girly like Bethenny Frankel who dressed as candy one year, Marilyn Monroe another, a sexy roller girl from the 70s and a sexy Hello Kitty! grrrrrr!

Love them all! I don’t know who is the best! You tell us!

Finally, not a selfie but posted Zoe Saldana recently shared a pic of herself with her sister Cicely Saldana taken at the Hispanic Heritage foundation awards where Zoe was given an award for her advocacy and charity work. Kudos.

Also, engaged in Charity this week, was Kerry Washington, who shared a photo of herself in a shirt with the words “It’s on Us“, a new campaign the Obama administration is promoting that encourages men and women to stop sexual assaults, especially on college campuses where it is a wide-spread occurrence.

Celeb Social Media Round Up

On this lazy hazy Sunday, why not check out what your fave preggers celeb were up to by gawking some of the photos they’ve shared in social media and recently.

We stalk them so you don’t have to, like Ciara who was in New York city with her new baby Zahir who she gave birth to this past May.

And Vanessa Carleton taking a selfie of her bump. “Is it still a selfie if it’s just an enormous soft egg with a chick that used to be your stomach?” she asked on Instagram.

Alicia Keys promoting her new song by creating a viral hashtag and encouraging her celeb friends and others to tell the world why they are here with the hashtag #WeAreHere. “I am here for you!! What you are here for? Tell me & pass it on… My love @THEREALSWIZZZ, What are you here for? ;-),” she captioned this Twitter pic.

Zoe Saldana said Jason Wu “killed” his presentation at the Hugo Boss runway show last week.

And Eva Marcille who was showing off pics of her daughter Marley.

And Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s fiance Roger Matthews fell asleep feeding their new daughter, Meilani who they welcomed this July.

And new mom Kelly Clarkson with alum Hillary Scott and Kacey Musgraves after performing at ACM Honors this month. “Got 2 sing with 2 amazing ladies tonight, @HillaryScottLA & @KaceyMusgraves 🙂 Congrats @shanemcanally #ACMhonors,” Clarkson wrote on Twitter.

Kerry Washington promoting her fall show Scandal with our past feature subject actress Viola Davis and Belllyitch alum Ellen Pompeo, who all have shows on ABC this fall.

Kourtney Kardashian was “all black everything” and the bump too in this Instagram share.

Savannah Brinson James is craving grapeleaves and Greek food while waiting for the newest member of the LeBron James clan.

Vanessa Simmons had her daughter Ava on the runway supporting her sister Angela Simmons’ New York Fashion Week runway show.

Celebrating her husband Swizz Beatz‘ birthday, Alicia Keys captioned this Twitter share”You make me happier than I have ever been in my LIFE!!! May this year continue to be full of all the things that matter!! I wish you only happiness and meaning and I promise to be the one that brings it to you everyday!!! How Having a Baby Can Revive your Career in Hollywood

In 2011, Mommyish’s did a post about so-called “DList” celebrities who got more famous after having a baby. Actually, it reminded me of a piece we did earlier, in January that year that writer and TV personality Teresa Strasser wrote for us, “Top Celebrity Baby Exploiters of 2010“.

In that piece, Strasser exalted about how pregnancy can easily launch a reality TV cast member into the public spotlight and on the cover of the top gossip mags.

That was also the year for the 20th anniversary of Demi Moore’s iconic Vanity Fair cover which we’ve determined was also the start of the public’s infectious interest in celebrity pregnancies.

And it’s gone even more mainstream in recent years.

While watching back episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (again late as usual), I noted Kim Kardashian stating that since she got pregnant, the paparazzi were even more ferocious and viral in search of pics. So true, as we’ve blogged before here, Kim, Kate Middleton, Victoria Beckham, Snooki and Beyonce‘s respective pregnancies garnered the most stories written by traditional media and other outlets that do not usually cover celebrity parents and pregnancy.

In year’s past, we’d say such media organizations and writers may have even looked down on gossip blogs and mags that “bumpwatched.”

Not anymore. They’re right here in the pepper pot with the US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, OK!, People, PopSugar, E!Online, CelebLaundry, Perez Hilton and BellyitchBlog‘s of the world!

Yes, the Celebrity Bumpwatch Phenomenon is alive and thriving.

Inside Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley’s baby shower (PHOTOS)

This Monday, Jenni “JWoww” Farley shared photos of her May 18 baby shower on her website this week, a couple weeks after giving birth to her daughter Meilani Alexander Mathews with fiance Roger Matthews on July 13.

Also, attending the pink-themed party were several alumni members of the MTV long running hit reality TV show Jersey Shore including her bestie Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

Jersey Shore’s JWoww gives birth to daughter, Meilani

Congrats to Jenni “JWoww” Farley and her fiance Roger Matthews on the birth of their first child together, a daughter, E! News reports.

The couple, who both starred on the MTV reality TV show Jersey Shore, named the new arrival Meilani Alexandra Matthews.

JWoww currently stars in a spinoff Snooki and JWoww with her bestie Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi who is also expecting her second child with fiance Jionni LaValle.

Kelly Rowland is not the first celebrity to work out intensely while pregnant

Just saw on The Wendy Williams Show mention that Kelly Rowland is apparently catching a lot of flak from fans on the Internet over her Instagram pics showing that the Destiny’s Child band member and chart topping solo artist has been having an active pregnancy which includes working out regularly.

Unfortunately, many of her critics must be unaware that maintaining an active lifestyle including regular exercise is actually recommended by doctors so long as it is done in moderation, is balanced with hydration and a healthy diet and is keeping with the type of activity the mom-to-be had before she got pregnant. In other words, inactive cubicle hermits shouldn’t be doing what she is doing to stay fit while pregnant but a globe-trotting performer who dances regularly can. Furthermore, she is not the only physically active and currently pregnant celebrity. MTV’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who is expecting her second child currently with fiance Jionni LaValle, frequenlty shares photos from the gym during this second pregnancy.

Also, former WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, who also known for being the long time ex girlfriend of George Clooney has been on several fitness magazines and done many interviews where she shares all of her work out secrets. She does Pilates 4 times a day and for the “Making of” video for her Fit Pregnancy cover shoot, she explained that she has been working out most days of her pregnancy doing muscle toning work outs sometimes four times a day, playing tennis, hiking, golfing and meditating. Her trainer noted in that Daily Mail article that said Keibler doesn’t eat junk food and eats clean. During her recent baby shower, hosts provided guests healthy sugar-, dairy- and gluten-free foods. Again, it’s all about the type of woman she was before pregnancy. It doesn’t change after pregnancy and just because you didn’t used to see it in social media doesn’t mean Rowland wasn’t a work out fiend before.

Other celebrities like Married to Jonas star Danielle Jonas, who recently welcomed her first child with husband Kevin Jonas, Instagrammed themselves working out often during their respective pregnancies and didn’t seem to get much push-back.

Alec Baldwin‘s Pilates Instructor wife Hilaria Baldwin, Kristin Cavallari, Teresa Palmer and international model Doutzen Kroes all Instagrammed themselves working out during their pregnancies. (see above collage)
