2014 Soul Train Music Awards Weekend: Celeb Mamas (Photos)

This weekend was the 2014 Soul Train Centric Awards Weekend at the Orleans Arena Stage in Las Vegas, Nevada.
We spotted several Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums at various pre, show and post-show events.  Tamar Braxton Herbert stopped by the pre-event gifting suite and graced the style stage and sang her hit song. She had various outfit changes through  the night.
New mom Lil Kim walked the red carpet and rocked the stage. 


Erica Campbell of Mary Mary looked fab on the red carpet as did actress, ex-boxer Laila Ali. 
Yesterday, November 8th Tisha Campbell-Martin accepted an award during the Centric Comedy event which also featured Bellyitch 2nd time dad-to-be Donald Faison.


The show was pre-taped and will air on Centric on November 30, 2014.

Carrie Underwood’s Best CMA Hostess Looks

So….while I wasn’t that crazy about mom-to-be Carrie Underwood‘s red carpet look last night at the Country Music Association‘s 48th Annual CMA Awards went down last night, November 5th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
She did redeem herself in a variety of looks, totaling about 10 altogether while presenting with Brad Paisley including a gorge crimson one shoulder draped gown, a playful blush baby doll empire waist dress, a cute shimmery silver minidress, a flowy  Scarlett Ohara powder blue gown and an elegant sequined midnight blue evening dress.
Kudos mama! Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together. The couple announced the pregnancy this past September.

Looks like Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are expecting their first

We have got virtual confirmation that Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are expecting their first child.
On Thursday,  InStyle editor Ariel Foxman , who is pals with Biel, tweeted a pic of Biel with the following suspicious caption:
“Congrats @jessicabiel on your impending motherhood … Looking forward to the red carpet maternity style pix to come #tbt.”
Neither Biel or Timberlake’s camp has responded to requests for comment. 
This week, RadarOnline showed a pic of Biel which revealed her bare bulbous bump and included in the story a source saying she is about three months along.  
Me thinks they are hesitant to come forward too soon with confirmation because perhaps she has suffered losses in the past and want to be very very certain the pregnancy will be able to be carried to term before sharing the news with the public.
That’s just my thoughts. If so, good luck, God Speed and congrats Jessica and Justin!

Zoe Saldana confirmed she is having twins

Yesterday, actress Zoe Saldana confirmed that she is expecting twins while attending the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Hollywood Costume exhibit in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 1.
When the E! News red carpet reporter asked the Guardian of the Galaxy star if she planned to dress up for Halloween, she replied, “I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice.”
Saldana confirmed her pregnancy with her husband Marco Perego this past July.

Bump Round up: Kristen Bell, Kelly Rowland, Zoe Saldana and more

Kristen Bell rocked a colorful print jumpsuit while attending the screening of the movie The Judge during the Toronto International Film Festival this week. Bell and Parenthood actor Das Shepard are expecting their second child. (HuffPo)

Zoe Saldana looked super cute in a print collared dress while on the red carpet to the  premiere of Cantiflas on August 27th. She’s reportedly carrying twins yet is managing to steer clear of the usual maternity wear

Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani  told talk show host Seth Meyers during an appearance this week that her son Kingston prayed for her to get pregnant again after she had already told him tha tthe family is “complete”.

“I brought out a cake after we found out it was really going to happen and it said, ‘We’re having a baby!’ I made him read it … and he goes, ‘Ahh! I prayed for that!’” (People)

Trend Alert: Fall Black and White is back!

The Black and White trend is back for Fall 2014 and we noticed quite a few of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums have recently rocked the trend on the red carpet to events. 
We are loving the script art crop top and matching pants that Mel B wore at the America’s Got Talent’ Post-Show Red Carpet held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Jennifer Lopez too was spotted in the black and white during the New Orleans stop at the American Idol  auditions tour. She wore a  $3,490 Valentino Bow Embellished Wool Blend dress. 

Bellyitch blogger Posh (middle) and many of her friends who joined her to celebrate her birthday earlier this year wore Black and White and it wasn’t even planned that way. 

Pregnant ladies too can rock the trend in black and white maternity dresses this season or mixing it up like the celebs in the featured header post above.

Here is a brief roundup of some celebrity pregnancy news:

New York Knicks NBA player Baron Davis and his fiance Isabella Brewster welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, last Friday. Brewster, a Brazilian American, is the younger sister of actress Jordana Brewster, and previously dated Katy Perry’s ex-husband Russell Brand and actors Bradley Cooper in 2009 and Milo Ventimiglia in 2010. Congrats

Across the pond, former UK boy band member of the non-defunct pop group JLS Oritsé Williams and his  girlfriend  Brit reality TV star Aimee Jade Azari  welcomed their first child together, a son, on Sunday, August 24.

Hayden Panettiere revealed on the red carpet to Monday night’s Primetime Emmy awards that she is expecting a baby girl when she told E! News she couldn’t wait for “her” to come out.  Panettiere and fiance Wladimir Klitschko are expecting their first.

Also on the red carpet, this time to MTV‘s VMA‘s on Sunday, Kelly Rowland revealed that her favorite part of pregnancy is feeling the baby kick from inside! Sweet! Me too. Rowland and her husband, manager Tim Witherspoon are expecting a son this year.
