Oops she did it again! And in keeping with the theme of naming her offsprings animals in nature, Cougar Town‘s Busy Phillips has named her second daughter, Cricket Pearl, E Online revealed today.
The Freaks and Geeks and and hubby, movie director, Marc Silverstein, named their first child Birdie Leigh.
Not my first choice, but it’s unique and fits perfectly with the celebrity non-traditional names baby-naming trend.
And in reply to all the chatter about the names, in typical hilare fashion, the actress, also well known for her role in Dawson’s Creek, tweeted the following:
It’s weird people think my kids will be in therapy because of their names. Guys, my kids will be therapy for LOTS of reasons, I’m sure.

Love it. Love her!
More celebrities are having girls we’ve noted. Over the last two years that we’ve “bump watched” celebrities, we took note that more boys were being born, especially to the most well known celebs.
Over the past year, we’ve taken note of a change in tide in that more girls are being born:
Another trend we are noticing is that more celebrities are naming their girls androgynous names or names usually associated with a boy or an inanimate object:
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (unconfirmed): North
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: Monroe
Lisa Ling: Jett
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson: Maxwell
Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z: Blue
Toni Collette: Sage
Gwynth Paltrow: Apple
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves: Vida
Will it pass down to the masses? Many times people follow celebrity trends down to what people name their kids. Will this trend stick as well? We’ll see…
