If you’ve followed this blog, you’d know that I have a slight healthy obsession with model-turned actress Jaime King.
So with that, I was quite excited to learn that she is going to join the long line of celebrities with children’s clothing labels with her newJaime King for Sapling Child collection of organic, non-toxic, vegetable-dyed clothing for children.

I admit, I am one of those off-again-on again vegan, all-the time pescetarean, organic, non-GMO, gluten free, holistic, juicing, whole-foods eating, detoxing, yoga-doing, feng shui types of persons who geek out for news like this. *sigh*

There needs to be a balance between being a bully of other moms, as fitness pro Maria Kang was accused of being when she asked, “what’s your excuse” for not looking as good as her after having a baby…and being motivational.
Cause really, no one who has had a tough time losing weight would ever ask another woman, why they too couldn’t do it.

Colombian pop superstar Shakira and her beau Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique announced their second annual “World Baby Shower” to benefit poor mothers and children globally.
The multi-Grammy award-winning artist is the Goodwill Ambassador for the UNICEF Education Fund and wrote that she wishes to use “the blessing of her child’s imminent birth to save the lives of other, less fortunate children around the world,”adding that “if every expectant mother having a baby shower decided to include among her gift registry some of these ‘inspired gifts’ that UNICEF offers, we could collectively save the lives of hundreds of thousands of children all over the globe.”
Donors can contribute to the purchase of midwifery kits, medical equipment, vaccinations, blankets, books and a soccer ball.
The couple also challenged others.

While visiting foster children, caregivers and social workers at The Fostering Network charity in the UK yesterday, January 14, Catherine Duchess of Cambridge wore a brown, mid-calf length animal print shirt dress from Brit outfitters Hobbs.
She’s worn that dress on a couple of occasions before, according to TODAY.
