The moms of the nationally cabe morning news program Fox and Friends welcomed back former weekend anchor Anna Kooiman who recently had a baby after moving back to her native Australia in 2016.
The ladies used the opportunity to have a pow wow segment on air about mom life and to check in on Kooiman’s experience. The best part is everyone brought their babies on set!
Kooiman traveled 26 hours by plane when a two month old to get there.
The vet mommies asked Kooiman to dish on her pregnancy. Kooiman shared a bit about any cravings she might have had while expecting her first child, son Brooks, with her husband Tim
“It was just carbs – bread, pretzels,” she stated.
Abby Huntsman, who also just had a baby, daughter Isabel Grace, back in November, chimed in on her first time pregnant experience from not long ago, adding that she craved sweets.
“Kids’ sugar cereals…I was like, why do I want Frosted Flakes?”
Everyone gave insights into their fave sweet daddy-baby moments.
Fellow correspondent Janice Dean said she adored the “Little things” like “he’ll play with the kids and just run upstairs and chase them around.”
Huntsman added, “I’ve caught my husband (Jeff) singing to Isabel. He has the worst voice in the world but it’s a sweet moment.”
Kooiman could relate.
“I have Tim in the nursey [cooing] because he (the baby) just started cooing,” she said.
The topic shifted to what the moms want for their children that they never had and it got tender.
“My mom worked a bunch of different odd jobs and I don’t feel like she ever had a job that she truly loved that I saw her go to day in and day out, but I hope that they can see how much I love what I do,” shared Jackie Ibanez.
Ainsley Earhardt said of she and her husband’s aim to show their children that, “your dreams can come true. This is America. Those are the lessons we can teach our kids and say look we did it.”
After the segment, Earhardt shared on her Instagram page a super cute behind-the-scenes shot of the ladies with their little ones.
“Mornings are #betterwithmoms ❤ @foxandfriend,” she captioned a photo of some of the hosts with their children, including two newborns.
Sweet!
