All you have to do to support this movement to help a community projects that is near and dear to your heart is:

Thru tomorrow June 25th at midnight, take a selfie with your little one and upload it onto Instagram or Twitter with the #UltraHug hashtag and in the commentary section of the photo include the name of the charitable organization you would like to nominate.
On July 6, Huggies will feature 20 of the nominated community projects on THIS SITE and give parents a chance to cast their vote for which project should receive a $2,000 grant from Huggies towards their community projects.
The top 10 projects getting the most votes will win the grants!

Over 6,000 women, including several teen mothers who were kicked out of their parents’ homes, have benefited from the nurturing care, encouragement and lifestyle training that Good Counsel provides!

Father’s Day: Rebecca Gayheart, Eric Dane support Huggies #HugsDelivered effort (RT!)

Yesterday wasn’t an ordinary day for our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum actress Rebecca Gayheart and her hubby actor Eric Dane.

The two helped out the Los Angeles, California-based charity Baby2Baby haul Huggies diapers delivered by the disposable nappies maker to the organization’s headquarters on June 10.

In honor of Father’s Day this Sunday, for every use of the hashtag #HugsDelivered through Father’s Day, Huggies will donate additional diapers to the group which Nicole Richie and Jessica Alba both serve as board members.

Gayheart and Dane in the past have supported the non-profits efforts to collect cash and product donations that go to help impoverished pregnant and new moms and their babies in the LA area so they can get a good start in parenthood and life.

Other past celebrity supporters and ambassadors/angels include our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums: Sarah Drew, currently preggers Alyssa Milano, Busy Phillips, Ellen Pompeo, Jessica Capeheart, Molly Sims, Selma Blair, Drew Barrymore, Rachel Zoe, Jaime King, Gwen Stefani and Holly Madison.

Parents and Critics call Israeli Diaper commercial too sexual (VIDEO)

A new Huggies Denim diapers ad is causing stir in Israel where a commercial for the product airs.

In the commercial, diaper-clad babies are seen posing with guitars, playfully paired up and bopping around, only some say the poses appear too sexual and are inappropriate for babies.

The diapers have been sold in Israel since 2007 and Huggies started marketing and selling them in the US in 2010.

“This video is in a long string of similar ads,” Alan E. Lawrence Kazdin, a professor of psychology and child psychiatry at Yale University told Good Morning America.

“Twenty years ago, we would have thought this ad was weird and bad,” he told ABCNews.com. “Think about the context. There are greeting cards with children dressed up as adults kissing each other in a romantic way. Dolls are provocative and children as young as 4 and 5 wear over-the-shoulder fashions. On TV, high school students have children. Shows have sex in the title. Who’s watching these? There is huge sexualization all over the place.”
