Just when I thought I couldn’t love Ryan Reynolds more, he goes and drop the most realist quote about parenthood and a dilemma many parents face: your child’s mom or your child?

I just spotted this meme on Instagram of a quote he made during an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman in February 2015 about his love for his daughter, James, with wife Blake Lively, whom they welcomed in December 2014.

“I used to say to [Blake], ‘I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you.’ I would say that to my wife.” he shared. “And the second I looked in that baby’s eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby.”

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child right before the New Year, Page Six reports.

Reportedly, she was not due for several weeks and the baby arrived early but reps for the couple report mom and baby are doing well.

This is the first child for the couple that married in 2012. Lively announced the news in a cute and chic way on her website Preserve in October.

In the silhouette photo, Lively is seen cradling a bump. The image is part of a post titled, “falling for family.”

The couple married in 2012. This would be the first child for both.

Report: Scarlett Johannson is pregnant

The Internet is a buzz with reports that actress Scarlet Johansson is pregnant with her first child with fiance journalist Romain Dauriac.

E!Online reported the news this past weekend and TMZ claims its sources say The Avengers actress is about 5-months pregnant.

Johnasson, who was once married to Ryan Reynolds for 3-years and dated Justin Timberlake for a long time, has noted in the past that she is ready to settle down, marry and raise a children after a long career.

“”At some point it is something I forward to. I am fortunate in that I have had a long career – 20 years – that has been very diverse,” the Captain America star told People after announcing her engagement. “So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out.”
