There is a common mistake for people to refer to the time women get off to care for their newborn as “vacation”. It. is. not. Farthest thing from it. Between lack of sleep, nursing and changing diapers and dealing with engorged breasts, recovering from surgery if one had a c-section, a possible tear, incision, epistemology, hemorrhoids, managing baby blues or possible post partum depression, gas or some other discomfort from having birthed a child. It is not a vacation.
