10 NEW 2014 Songs and VIDEOS from Bellyitch Alums

My latest jam is Gwen Stefani‘s new single “Baby Don’t Lie” and so are some of these brand new and relatively new songs and videos our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums have dropped this year. These are some of the hardest ladies moms in the industry. Check em out!

Alicia Keys‘ inspirational song “We are Here” was released last month complete with a hashtag campaign.

Fergie‘s new song “L.A. Love “ is hot and catchy though there is no video for it yet.

Tamar Braxton Herbert recently collaborated with hip hop crooner Future on her latest “Let me Know” and released the audio for it on her YouTube account earlier this month.





Hillary Scott and Lady Antebellum‘s latest “I Did With You”

It’s a bit old now, but 5 months ago, 2nd time mom to be Shakira released the video for her World Cup Soccer song, “La La La”

Mom-to-be Carrie Underwood just released her latest single “Something in the Water”. No video yet, but take a listen to the audio.

This Summer, Jennifer Hudson dropped the popping song, “Walk it out” and released its video

This Spring, Lily Allen shared the video for her song “Sheezus”









Erica Campbell of Mary Mary‘s video for her single “Help” came out this winter in February, but I’m squeezing it in here anyway to represent pop gospel!! ha!

2 Philly transit cops deliver baby on train Christmas day (VIDEO)

It’s being called a Christmas miracle.

Two Philadelphia transit police officers helped deliver a baby on Christmas day, Thursday, December 25 right on the train.

The commuter, a woman, went into labor when SEPTA police officers Sgt. Daniel Caban and Officer Darrell James were called onto the train.

 “We just came down,” Sgt. Caban told local ABC 6 news. “We just thought it would be nice to bring the newborn baby, the little miracle baby some presents.”

According to the officers, the baby’s head had crowned and could be seen inside his mom’s sweatpants by the time they got to her even.

The mom named the newborn Chris, symbolic for the day he was born.

A commuter captured the entire delivery on mobile phone and the video has since gone viral.

International Bump Watch: Filipino actress Cristine Reyes

Filipino actress Cristine Reyes is doing a fab job documenting her pregnancy on her Instagram account for her followers and fans. 
She captioned the above photo:

I have dreamy visions of pregnancy.. Cute, little bump, the beautiful glow, and the luminosity of serene happiness. In reality however, pregnancy is just like everything else in life.. Messy, uncomfortable, real. 

Some women breeze through their pregnancies without a glitch, other women encounter complications that lead them to bed rest. This happened to me during my first trimester. 
Now I’m doing good and can do some light physical activity, fly abroad or travel by land. I just have to support my lower back now with a pillow.  

I’m pretty excited and bored. Can’t wait to see you my baby, my ‘lil angel, my wonderful blessing. Momma loves you #babybump #pregnant #preggo #mothertobe #motherhood #haircutbyalexcarbonell

The star of the movie The Trophy Wife  and her beau Ali Khatibi, a mixed martial arts fighter, are expecting a baby girl.

They unveiled the news during a gender reveal party about a month ago.

Bono kisses Alicia Keys’ bump, Inside her and Swizz Beatz’ baby shower

Alicia Keys is not scheduled to deliver her second child with hubby producer Swizz Beatz until December 31, but her bump had early blessings in the form of a kiss from legendary US front man Bono. 
Keys shared the endearing photo on her Instagram amount this week.
While checking out that super cute photo, we spotted some pics from her baby shower earlier this month. 
The couple hosted the blessed event themselves with help from Beatz’ mom. They are parents to 3-year old son, Egypt. 
Nice!

5 Healthy things to Get with your Christmas gift cards

The day after Christmas is also a busy shopping day as people return gifts that didn’t fit or they don’t like and others use the gift cards they got from family and friends.  This is also the time of the year that people pledge to change their lifestyles and become more healthy and to eat better and work out. 

1. A Powerful Blender or Juicer: A major part of the high holiday season and winter is eating high calorie foods, drinks and desserts. It’s certainly a time to be packing on the pounds. Many people usually pledge to change their eating habits for the New Year.  Healthy shakes and juices are common ways people transition out of their bad heating. I cannot wait to purchase my first Vitamix  and I’ve heard great things about the Magic Bullet.

3. WorkOut Clothes – If you have brand new fancy work out clothes in your drawers or hanging in your closet, you may feel obligated to wear it to a gym, maybe. I love how good quality pieces feel on my skin and when I can, try to go with a powerful label that is native to Maryland where I live, Under Armour. But if you cannot get a LuLu Lemon level of price point, there are many other options sold online and in specialty stores at the mall.

4. A steps counter – Because some people walk a lot to and from or as a part of their job, it’s great that steps counters like the Fitbit Flex are now trending and being used by more people. If you can see how taking the steps or getting out one stop before the closest one to your job can encourage you to rack up more steps, and burn more calories you will. That’s part of the appeal to steps counters. They are on sale these days and can be found as low as $35.

5. A food scale – If you will be starting one of those programs that require you to watch your portions and weigh your food so you have precise amount of protein, you should invest in a food scale. They are modestly price and are sold at big box stores like Target and Walmart or specialty stores like Williams-Sonoma and the like.
