Report: Marion Cotillard is Devastated by Pitt Affair Rumors… Oh and is Pregnant

marion cotillard

Our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Marion Cotillard is starring in an upcoming blockbuster and rumored to be expecting her second child with long time partner actor and director Guillaume Canet.

Closer claims the 40-year-old French actress is due to give birth in December.

She also being dragged and reported to be the third party involved in the recently announced impending divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (also a blog alum). Page Six claims  she was having an affair with Pitt and that is the reason why Jolie filed for divorce.

Cotillard, who I loved in the movie Inception, has said she is “absolutely devastated” by the reports. Insiders on the set of her movie Allied, in which she plays opposite Pitt and with whom she shares steamy sex scenes, says that Jolie was insanely jealous and insecure, according to a Daily Mail report.

Further, X-17 cites a source:

Angie couldn’t handle Brad’s sex scenes with Marion. Her jealousy was out of control.

Brad tried for months to reassure her and calm her anxiety, but it simply didn’t work. She said her intuition was telling her he was cheating.’

Angie has struggled with insecurity over Brad’s fidelity for years, but she was never as jealous over a co-star as she was with Marion. She was always paranoid Brad would do to her the same thing he did to Jen.’

Above: Cotillard and Pitt in the upcoming film “Allied” and Below, Jolie and Pitt on the set of Mrs. & Mrs. Smith where Jolie says they fell in love.

Perhaps, if true that Jolie is jealous, she knows that she fell in love with Pitt on the set of the 2008 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston so she perhaps knows the pattern and fears she is now on the receiving end of an affair.

Also, a source to the The Mirror  says “Marion and Guillaume are blissfully happy, and these kind of claims are not what Marion wants to be hearing.”

marion

Cotillard and Canet have been together for 10 years and share a five-year-old son Marcel, born in May 2011.  Edited to add that she released a statement to the via Instagram recently:

This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into. I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up,” she began.

Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need. Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn’t distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery. Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion.

Coincidentally, the trailer for the film, Allied, was recently released. I’m certain the producers are eating up the free publicity and are not upset by all of this drama.

REVIEW: Bands of Moms Organized “Bad Moms” Movie Nights this Weekend

13892209_10210128684319589_1649939281767325378_n

This weekend, groups of mom friends across the nation gathered en masse to see the new Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell movie Bad Moms which also stars two other of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums, Jada Pinkett Smith and Christina Applegate.

(Moms’ Night Outings included this one and here and even here where someone rented out the entire theater)

The film is about Amy (Kunis), a suburban mom who is married to her college sweetheart, and has two great kids including entitled son Dylan (Emjay Anthony) and an overachieving soccer star daughter, Jane (Oona Laurence) who dreams of getting into an Ivy League school even while still in Middle School.  Amy  is also married to an immature real estate mortgager who is a parenting slacker and leaves Amy to do all the work at home even though she also works part time at a trendy coffee company owned and managed by millennials. At age 32, she is the oldest worker. Oy vey!

SEE TRAILER

As the film begins, Amy relays how she is overwhelmed, underappreciated and constantly late. (We can all relate, well I know I can) Amy has to also battle against meeting up to the high expectations and standards of a trio of perfect moms, led by the PTA President Gwendolyn(Applegate), the Queen B who runs the school, and her sidekick moms Stacy (Pinkett-Smith) and Vicky (Annie Mumolo).

Eventually, she just gives up on trying and befriends frazzled mousey stay-at-home mom KiKi (Bell) and single mom Carla (Kathryn Hahn), the break out star in the film and they cut up.

For a  few days, they sleep in, stop making the kids’ breakfast, skip work, go out to pubs and dance clubs and act out in a supermarket in the most hilarious scene of the film.

That scene is second only to (SPOILER ALERT) the one in a bathroom when Carla and KiKi preps Amy to start dating again after she and her husband take a break from her marriage and Carla uses Kiki to show Amy how to manage an uncircumcised man’s member. It is utter hilarity!

bad moms

I too attended a Bad Moms outing my law school girlfriend Marcie organized. It included happy hour drinks before (which I missed but borrowed a photo from) and night of dancing at a local concert hall to an 80s cover band after. I’d dare say 98% of our theater was filled with women. There were probably several groups of mom groups out. There was lots of talking, popcorn throwing and cutting up in the theater before and the antics were aplenty.

We all agreed afterwards that we have to go see the movie again because we missed so many lines because we were laughing so hard throughout the film.

And what can you expect when the writer/director of The Hangover, Jon Lucas, was behind the film? There is plenty of raunchy and hypersexualized over-the-top slapstick humor that works and a very generous use of the F-bomb. It is rated R for a reason and you should definitely not think of taking your kids with you to see this.

Again, as I stated above, Hahn is the most memorable. Every line that comes out of her mouth elicited belly laughs. It’s because she doesn’t give a kitty about what others think, is sexually free and liberated and is that ride-or-die pal that has your back. She’s that friend from college who would hold back your pony tail while you hurl in the throne after a wild night out, but who has grown up and is now solo-parenting a 6 feet tall middle school jock kid.

Hahn steals ever scene she is in.

bad mom poster

My girl Bell does a phenomenal job as a docile mom with a controlling husband who eventually grows some cohones and stands up to him by the end of the movie. She delivers some zingers that are effective because they are unexpected but delivered with perfect comedic timing.

The movie climaxes as Amy decides to compete with Gwendolyn for PTA President after Gwendolyn does something that negatively impacts Jane.

The movie is The Hangover meets Mean Girls.  It has the usual comedy movie tropes but it is successful.

I recommend you get your mom pals together and organize your own Bad Moms movie outing. The last time I attended a movie that got so many groups of women out was when Sex and The City movie came out. I wasn’t a fan of Fifty Shades so I missed all the Fifty Shades movie night outings.

But Bad Moms is definitely a must-see! Fun times!

Eco-Friday: Save Money on Your Home with These 5 Upgrades

home

Fifty-five percent of global online consumers across 60 countries say they are willing to pay for products and services from companies committed to positive social and environmental impact, according to a report from Nielsen. Fortunately, it’s now the mainstream for retailers and manufacturers to offer a wide variety of eco-friendly products and upgrades. Brands are listening to their customers and continuing to develop the green products they want. Here are five money-saving, eco-friendly upgrades to get started.

Dishwasher drawers

Skip the large dishwashers if you live solo or as a couple. Dishwasher drawers are perfect for smaller homes and apartments. Fisher & Paykel make a single-drawer dishwasher that’s Energy Star-qualified. The dishwasher blends in with your home decor and leaves more room for cabinets, storage and other eco-friendly appliances.

Remember that your homeowners insurance typically only covers the repair of structural damage — it doesn’t touch appliances and systems in your home. You’ll need to invest in a home warranty from a company like TotalProtect to cover the repair or replacement costs when appliances break down from everyday use.

Smart thermostat

Heating and cooling systems are often left on all day while at work or away. In some cases, you have no choice but to let them run or face a freezing home with cracked water pipes when you get home. Meanwhile, a smart thermostat like Nest can learn your habits and adjust around your life. Nest creates a cooling and system schedule and can adjust when your needs change. On average, Nest saves up to 12 percent on heating and 15 percent on cooling bills for a savings of nearly $145 a year.

Energy-saving windows

Install Energy Star windows and skylights to lower your overall energy bills and save money. But more importantly, you can help reduce your part in greenhouse gas emissions. The low-emissivity coatings on Energy Star-certified products can also help reduce UV sun damage to your furniture and carpet. From a money-saving standpoint, homeowners can save anywhere from $101 to $583 a year when replacing single-pane windows. You’ll also save the environment up to 6,205 pounds of CO2 a year.

Lighting

Light-emitting diodes, or LED lighting, prove an energy-efficient alternative to incandescent bulbs. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing your home’s lighting with LED and Energy Star rated bulbs can save $75 each year. Meanwhile, 90 percent of the energy from incandescent bulbs is given off as heat and wastes resources and money. Other eco-friendly lighting choices include Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) bulbs and eco-friendly halogen incandescents.

Bamboo flooring

Quality bamboo flooring is less expensive and more durable than its wooden counterparts. Bamboo grows rapidly and regenerates itself in around seven years, while it can take trees 40 to 50 years to replace themselves. Bamboo is also easy to clean and gives a modern, clean aesthetic to your home. But like any flooring, the trick is to invest in a quality product. Cheap bamboo flooring will dent and scratch and need replacement sooner. Always go with a reputable, top of the line retailer and product to get the most out of your home upgrades.

Here are 10 Things to Do to Avoid Spring Allergies

fight-allergies1

With Spring, we welcome warmer weather and more opportunities to play outdoors. Spring also is a time when many children and adults feel the effects of allergies. Allergens can be in the home too.
Most people don’t realize that their home is probably making them sick,  says Robin Wilson, founder and CEO of Robin Wilson Home in New York City and an ambassador to The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, but there are simple solutions to help eliminate the “wheezes and sneezes.”
Here are her tips for help contain some of the sources of allergy suffering:
1. For allergy and asthma sufferers, make sure and use hypoallergenic pillows and anti-allergen or hypoallergenic pillow cases and covers. Wash your pillow case once a week, your pillow protector at least once a month and wash your pillow at least twice a year. Replace pillows every three years
2.  Don’t use a vinyl shower curtain because it holds mold more easily and off gases. Use a nylon curtain instead. It’s also less expensive.
3. Use non-VOC paints which won’t off gas, leave an obnoxious paint odor and stir up asthma or allergies. It looks just as good on the wall as regular paint.
4. Avoid wall-to-wall carpeting. Tile and hardwood floors are a much better choice, but must be vacuumed or cleaned on a regular basis to eliminate dirt and dust. Shake out and vacuum area rugs on a regular basis as well. Use a vacuum with a HEPA filter.
5. Watch for mold in the dishwasher and refrigerator pan which can build up quickly in the kitchen.
6. One of the biggest trends today is eco-friendly cabinetry because it has no formaldehyde adhesives and is made with low VOC stains.  Consider frameless cabinets which won’t collect as much dust.
7. Use slip covers on sofas and chairs which can be washed regularly to eliminate dirt and dust.
8. Keep pets out of the bedroom, and bathe them often to reduce the dander.
9. Freeze stuffed toys for 24 hours to kill dust mites and other bacteria that may have built up.
10. Keep windows closed at night so pollen from outdoors don’t get in and settle on surfaces.

Following these tips should help minimize the sneeze attacks this Spring.

9 of the Celeb Women We’ve Profiled had Kids with Self-Professed Sex Addicts

sex addicts

The American Association for Family and Marriage estimate that between 12 and 14 million Americans have a sex addiction.

Some of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch and adoptive moms have been on the other end of the addiction, married to men who claimed an insatiable appetite or obsession with sex ruined their relationships.

Most recently, Tori Spelling’s dilemma with her sex addicted husband Dean McDermott has been playing itself out on a Lifetime television reality series. Others like Tea Leoni who was married to addict David Duchovny; Katherine Zeta Jones, married to former sex-addict Michael Douglass and Angelina Jolie, whose ex Billy Bob Thornton, admitted to be an addict, have kept it out of the limelight.

Some, like Sandra Bullock, couldn’t help it but the media made her hubby Jessie James’ sex-addicted cheating ways very public and tabloid fodder. Halle Berry‘s ex husband Eric Benet was widely reported to be an addict too. Benet later retracted the claim. Similarly, Tiger Woods also claimed an addiction for the reason he cheated on his wife Elin Woods and even went to rehab for it.

Charlie Sheen is infamously linked to admittedly cheating on his exes including Denise Richards, partially because of a sex addiction.

Kanye West has admitted to being a sex addict and says it is was fuels his success. Wonder how Kim Kardashian, the mom of his daughter Nori and son Saint, is coping.

While the condition is a legitimate ailment, it is often questioned and presumed to be an excuse for a guy who cannot or will not stay faithful.

Bump Day: Lost Ciara Maternity Feature

ciara21

We’re having a throwback to a feature from 2009-2010 called  Bump Day, which was a take off of Wednesday’s Hump Day.  Through it, we would highlight and celebrate  pregnant baby bumps of all shapes, forms and variety.

While cleaning out files, we found this lost photo of model, actress and singer Ciara from back when she was pregnant with son Future and was featured in a W magazine shoot..

Ciara looks to be a great mom from what we can tell scoping out her IG.  She has since split with then fiance, R&B recording artist Future and is currently dating NFL Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. She is also taking a little heat from her ex Future over the fact that Wilson interacts with Future Jr.

future russell ciara

He’s calling Ciara horrible names  even though Ciara regularly interacted with his four children from four different relationship while they were together. She was cool then, though, many have already pointed out.
