The Realhousewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille celebrated the impending arrival of her third child with an intimate Flower themed garden baby shower over the weekend.
Her BRAVO TV co stars Cynthia Bailey, Nene Leakes, Porsha Williams, and friends of the housewives Shamea Morton and Marlo Hampton, along with Cynthia’s sister and occassional guest on the show Mal Bailey, all joined in the fun to celebrate Baby Maverick, the chosen name Marcille and her husband, attorney Michael Sterling, have selected for their second child together.
“Pardon me I must say initially I was not super excited about having a baby shower considering this is my third child,” Marcille captioned a stunning Instagram photo of herself o the big day. “However, waking up this morning I’m super excited and it is my joy to celebrate the welcoming of my newest Flower Child ‘Baby Maverick.’ The Sterling clan gets a little bit bigger.”
Her co-stars and other guests also posted pics of the event.
R&B singer Keyshia Cole welcomed the impending arrival of her second child this past Saturday at an indoor/outdoor baby shower in Los Angeles.
Cole and her partner, aspiring rapper Niko Khale, are expecting their first child together. The new baby will join Cole’s s 10-year old son, Daniel Gibson Jr., from another relationship.
From the looks of a blue floral wall and blue balloons it appears she is expecting another baby boy.
Cole, who starred in three reality TV show on the BET Network and is currently filming a baby special, wore a white gown and a crown of blue flowers for the special occasion.
Attendees included her controversial birth mom Frankie Lons, her adoptive mother Yvonne Cole, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood stars Zell Swag and Paris Phillips.
“4 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!! Omg!!!!!!! I soooo ready to meet my little munchkin #2 FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAME OUT YESTERDAY AND I WANT TO SAY …………. THANK U SOOOO FOR COMING AND TRAVELING,” she captioned a series of photos from the event.
Family and vendors shared photos from the event on the Gram. The fact she tagged BET has us thinking the network was probably filming for her upcoming special as well.
“It took me 41 years to have this baby,” Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossitold PEOPLE magazine when they asked if she would be overprotective of her first child ever. “I’m probably going to be crazy protective.”
Since it was a long time coming, that might explain the over-the-top and very elaborate Laguna Beach baby shower she and her partner Slade Smiley had back in May to celebrate the baby girl who is due to arrive this July 11 and who the couple have decided to name Skylar
The event which took place at a lux venue overlooking the beach, was attended by several current and former Bravolebrities including Real Housewives of Dallas star D’Andra Simmons, Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay, Phaedra Parks (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Patti Stanger (The Millionaire Matchmaker) and Rossi’s former RHOC costars Lizzie Rovsek and Peggy Tanous.
Guests enjoyed a whiskey bar from Distillery 291, cigars from Master Roller Cigars , with Kiss FM’s DJ Chunk on the 1’s and 2s and a Sub Zero Ice Cream booth provided custom frozen desserts — including Skylar’s Shower Cake (cake-batter ice cream with cookie dough and rainbow sprinkles), Rossi’s “Rocking” Road (chocolate ice cream with marshmallows and almond slices), Slade’s “Sleepy” Salted Caramel (salted-caramel ice cream with pretzels) and Family Fruity Fusion (raspberry and marshmallow ice cream with mixed berries).
Rossi wore a white empire-waist plunging neckline lace gown by Project Runwaydesigner Michael Costello with flowing sleeves, paired with diamond teardrop earrings, flats and a necklace that spelled her daughter’s name.
From PEOPLE about the food:
There was plenty. Guests nibbled on meat, cheeses and fruit on an epic charcuterie spread by Samira Weddings and Events, and enjoyed other appetizers off a 16-foot-long grazing table of tasty bites by Lucky Board LA. A huge ice tower held shrimp, clams, oysters and other seafood.
There was a huge variety of desserts, too — the centerpiece of which was a six-tier wedding-style cake in shades of pale pink and white, with a gold-detailed crown on top.
Cupcakes were topped with intricate designs, like baby carriages and white flowing dresses. Sugar cookies came in a variety of shapes, such as baby onesies (hanging on hangers) and sleeping babies. Towers of chocolate strawberries and macarons from Regal Delights offered other edible treats.
Bravo TV‘s Real Housewives of Potomac housewife Ashley Darby celebrated her 31st birthday and the impending arrival of her first child at a traditional ladies only “Shower” theme baby shower, this past Saturday, June 8th..
The festive event was held at La Vie restaurant in the recently renovated Wharf DC. Guests who entered a floral archway included castmates Gizelle Bryant, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Monique Samuels, Karen Huger and Robyn Dixon to her grandmom Joyce Bryant and mom Sheila Mattthews and friends.
“I am still coming down from the joy and excitement of Baby D’s shower of love this weekend,” Darby captioned an Instagram post of a video of the event. “Michael and I are blessed to be surrounded by you caring, loving, supportive people. Life is much more fulfilling with you in it.”
Baker’s Cake Theory provided treats and a giant cupcake as a birthday surprise. Guests dined on a brunch menu that included mimosas and La Vie’s signature Bellini.
Local DC DJ Live Drex spun tunes, while aerialist Shelly Flex (of Dollz Entertainment) performed a 5-minute number to Disclosure’s “You” using a lollipop ring for support.

Tierra Events provided all the flowers for the event, including those draped on the hedge wall which guests snapped photos in front of for the Gram.
Three tall arrangements and two low arrangements were set up for the table centerpieces, with blue hydrangeas sitting atop green bottom pompom and strings of white dendrobium orchids, according to an OK mag feature on the event.
This blog covers the celeb lifestyle and red carpets, and Privatte jet travel, which believe it or not, is becoming more accessible to the general public.
Through Uber-like services and competitive rates, more people than ever before can experience the convenience, comfort, and luxury of taking off on a jet plane to destinations either near or far for business and pleasure.
While your experience chartering your “own” course with a private service will be nothing to sneeze at, the owners of these private jets are taking the term “luxurious’’ to a whole new stratosphere.
Let’s take a private look inside six of the most luxurious private jets
Boeing 747-8 VIP jet
Is it rude to have a better
plane than the President of the United States?
Despite the original $367
million price tag, the owner of a Boeing 747-8 VIP jet added
another $200 million in amenities to create the equivalent of a mansion in the
No worries, as the Gulfstream G650ER with
its humble price tag of just $66.5 million is perfect for those small group
jetaways of 8 passengers or less.
With a palatial dining room,
big screen televisions throughout and a “master suite with magnificent views of
the changing sky,” flying in the current Air Force One model may seem like a
step down to a low-rent district in aviation.
There were similar feelings with the powers that be. With plans to retire the two Boeing 747-200s that are the current Presidential ride, the 747-8’s are next in line. However, taxpayers should not collectively clutch their chests and wallets. The Air Force saved significantly on costs by buying the jets from the bankrupt Russian airline Transaero.
2. Gulfstream G650E
Perhaps being the owner of
a $500 million private jet that when flown commercially can accommodate 467
passengers is a little over the top for your modest needs.
Flying at a maximum speed of Mach 0.90, this flagship of the Gulfstream fleet can take you from Los Angeles to Geneva in 10.5 hours. That’s about three hours faster than a commercial flight! But unlike a commercial flight, you can use a smartphone app to control your custom cabin.
3. Pilatus PC-24
Considered to be one of the
world’s best private jets, the Pilatus PC-24 is the
epitome of both versatility and comfort.
Often referred to as the
“penthouse of the skies,” this little jewel’s price tag of $8.9 million is, in
comparison to the other jets on our list, hardly a king or queen’s ransom. As
the world’s first Super Versatile Jet, it is in a class of its own and is able
to land on short dirt runways as easily as it does on the strips of airports
such as O’Hare or Heathrow.
The flexibility also means that you have an additional 880 airports in which you can touch down, meaning that convenience and luxury are not mutually exclusive.
4. Airbus 380
From a Turkish bath to a
concert hall with a grand piano, we once again up our game to the Airbus 380
that was once owned by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud. Just as an
aside, when the Prince decided to sell his jet in 2013, it was reported that he
used the proceeds to “expand his investments in Saudi Arabia and the Middle
Now you may be wondering
how one can fit a concert hall into a private plane? The A380 commercial model
can accommodate up to 800 passengers. Due to the aircraft failing to gain
sustainable traction within the commercial industry, production will cease in
2021. Fortunately for the A380, it is becoming a favorite for private owners.
Given its size – it is hailed as being the largest commercial airplane ever built and is an interior designer’s dream for any client with a princely purse.
5. Boeing 787 Dream Jet
The Boeing 787 Dream Jet is the
pinnacle of luxury and exclusivity. At a cost of $70,000 an hour to rent, you
can see why some use the word “exclusive” when talking about this private jet.
Part of its appeal, beyond
its 20 hours of uninterrupted flying time, is its spacious dining rooms and
sleeping quarters which are more reminiscent of a luxury cruise liner than an
airplane. Now we know where the saying, “it’s the only way to fly” originated.
6. Bombardier Global 7500
Learjet, a Canadian company, was the very first aircraft manufacturer to build private jets. The first Learjet took-off in 1963, and while the competition has become fierce since those early days, the company now owned by Bombardier is still a brand to be reckoned with.
If we are talking about
luxury, the master bedroom is so fancy it is worthy of its, “stateroom”
moniker. The fact that there are quarters for the crew too means that your
private jet is truly “private.”
They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder so choosing the six
most luxurious jets in the world today is no easy task.
These jets take into account the diverse tastes and requirements of the most discriminating of travelers to give you a glimpse into how the world’s rich and famous traverse the globe.
Vanessa Bryant celebrated her Mother’s Day weekend with a baby shower to welcome the addition of her latest princess to the Bryant family.
In family photos of the event posted by Bryant and her famous Los Angeles Lakers retired basketball player husband Kobe Bryant, pink white and gold balloons, butterfly ornaments and pink rose florals in white box vases can be seen in front of a green shrub wall.
“Happy Mother’s Day @vanessabryant,” the NBA legend captioned a photo of his family at the baby shower. “We love you and thank you for all that you do for our family. You are the foundation of all that we hold dear.”
Vanessa took time to pose with her mom at the event.
The 4-time mom-to-be wore a stunning pink bump-hugging, long sleeve off the shoulder dress which looked fab with her neutral baby pink nails, and soft blush makeup, her hair in loose cascading ringlets.
The couple are parents to three girls: 16-year old Natalia Diamante, 13-year old Gianna Maria-Onore and 2-year old Bianka Bella.
In California, where marijuana is legal, Kim Kardashian West hosted a baby shower for the impending arrival of her 4th child via surrogacy with a CBD-themed party.
CBD, an extract from marijuana plants, is used for a lot of things including to soothe anxiety, ease pain, relax muscles and more but unlike real weed, it doesn’t give users the same psychoactive high.
Guests sat on the ground and had “sound baths” and made special flower arrangements that included marijuana plants, CBD bath salts and oils to take home.
They also had goodie baskets full of CBD products.
At one point during the event, Kim rose to share that she is freaking out about welcoming a fourth child and told guests to join her in trying to chill out.
There was also a hint to the baby’s name.
On last night’s episode of her and her sisters popular Keeping Up With the Kardashian reality TV show who told them that their dad, famed attorney Robert Kardashian would be reincarnated in the form of one of their children.
So…onlookers noticed the name Robert in Kim’s snap, and are speculating as to whether a kid with older siblings named North, Saint and Chicago would really have such a conventional name as Robert.
Well he could always go as Hatut, the other name she wrote which is Armenian for “He has Risen”, and keeps with the boys being given Biblical-related names. *shrug*
Congrats to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams who welcomed her first child, a baby girl on Friday.
“What a time to be alive!” Porsha and fiance businessman Dennis McKinley said in a joint statement to People magazine. “Porsha and I are so happy and blessed to announce the arrival of our daughter, Baby PJ. We couldn’t have imagined a more magical moment! Can’t thank everyone enough for joining us on this journey-it’s been a fantastic journey.”
Per the mag, the Dish Nation host welcomed her daughter at 1:36 p.m., weighs 6 lbs., 15 oz., and measures 20 inches long
Her sisterLauren Williams posted, but now deleted, on Instagram a photo of her and Porsha in her hospital room, as well as a screenshot of a text message exchange with Dennis. He wrote, “She’s here.” She responded, “Omggg” and “Lemme see!!!!!!!”
We loved her tender message about the impending arrival in an instagram speech in place of the one she was going to give at the baby shower:
McKinley gave his followers a heads up when he posted a photo from the hospital bed when presumably Porsha was going to be induced.
The good news come after a traumatic loss from her past pregnancy.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings,” Porsha told People when she first announced the news. “The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear.”
She previously told People.com: “I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomythis.
“So just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.”
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and fiancé businessman Dennis McKinley celebrated the impending arrival of their first child together last month on February 24 at the Suada Studio in Atlanta, Georgia.
The intimate Winter Wonderland theme for 80 guests featured elegant and ornate decorations in rose gold and white, ice sculptures, white linen, ballet dancers, white flowers, provided by Akeem Clayton who listed event credit on his Instagram page. and the words “Celebrating PJ” (short for Porsha Junior) on the dance floor.
Guests were asked to dress in cocktail wear in white.
See a copy of the invitation, and other great exclusive photos by Stanley Babb at US Weekly and PEOPLE magazine.
“The day was magical,” the Bravolebrity told PEOPLE exclusively for this week’s issue of the celeb magazine. “It was amazing to walk into a room and feel that much love. I have such a tremendous support system around me and women who lift me up and are just so incredibly happy for me.”
There are rumors that Williams had inked a Baby Special and from the looks of it, based on all the TV crew professional videographers at the event, it appears so.
Guests which included her current and past RHOA castmates Cynthia Bailey, Tanya Sam, Eva Marcille, Shamari Devoe, Kenya Moore, Shamea Morton, Marlo Hampton; Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Monique Samuels; and Married to Medicine cast member Toya Bush-Harris
They noshed on hors d’oeuvres like seasonal fruit, baked brie, teriyaki chicken tenderloin and shrimp ceviche served on edible spoons provided by Chef Donald Wilson
And per People, a buffet dinner featured organic kale salad, lemon rosemary chicken breast with caper sauce, pan-seared salmon with red-onion marmalade, roasted potatoes, orecchiette pasta with chardonnay cream sauce and pesto, green beans and grilled ciabbata.
House-made banana pudding and Georgia peach cobbler made up the sweet portion of the buffet, while guests sipped on sparkling mango beverages and lemon, strawberry and mint water between bites, and a hot-chocolate station and decadent dessert station filled with macaron towers, cheesecake shooters, chocolate-truffle cake pops, cupcakes and cookie stacks by Sweet Details.
The centerpiece was a multi-layer vanilla bean, butter-almond and red-velvet cake with the initials “PJ” on it.
GB Design House provided the napkins for the event, hot-chocolate supplies, popcorn boxes, chocolate truffles for guests to take home, stir sticks and advice coasters, which guests filled out to give their best parenting tips to the mom- and dad-to-be.
The mom-to-be also used the occasion to promote her business ventures and partnerships including one with the Peanut app she says she has used to connect with other moms and by outfitting her sister Lauren in a dress from her upcoming clothing line, Porsha Williams. She also has “Go Naked” hair company and Porsha Williams sheets.
She herself wore a custom lace dress. Looked like quite the elegant affair. Noticeably absent was castmates Kandi Burruss and Nene Leakes.
The ones that were there played a fun game dressing a plastic doll head hosted by Dish Nation jockey Gary With Da Tea form the Ricky Smiley Show, where Williams is also a co-host.
