Brit singer Rochelle Humes turned down Demi Moore nude cover recreation

Our Bellytich Bumpwatch alum Rochelle Humes from the British group The Saturdays revealed in a recent interview that she turned down many offers to recreate the iconic 1991 Demi Moore Vanity Fair cover.

When pregnant with her daughter, Alaia-Mai, in 2013, the star of the short lived E! Reality TV show Chasing the Saturdays told Notebook magazine that she spent the last couple of months leading up to her daughter’s birth rejecting numerous offers.

“I got asked to do all those (naked) shoots with the bump and I just thought it sounded like hell. No, no and no,” she told the magazine. “Marvin was lucky if he saw me with my bump. I wanted to feel like Demi Moore looked, but I was just sweaty, spotty and yuck.”

Several celebrities in the US, UK and elsewhere have posed nude while pregnant for magazines.So there you have it, not all celebrities are eager to bare it all for the celebration of the pregnant body for the world to see. (ha!)

Hilary Duff, JLo and Kim Kardashian rock Teen Choice Red Carpet

Some of our Bellytich Bumpwatch alums brought the curves and rocked the stage and red carpet to the FOX’s 2014 Teen Choice Awards last night, Sunday, August 10 at The Shrine Auditorium.

Mixed in with the other youthful faces of Young Hollywood were:

Hilary Duff who va-va-voomed in a Black Sachin+Babi top with vibrant red floral accents at the trim with a figure hugging high-waisted leather midi skirt and black Stuart Weitzmen pumps. Love the look, mama!

She’s got legs and she knows how to use them. Jennifer Lopez looked youthful and saucy in a gorge green House of Eli Saab lace and shea flare skirted dress from its Spring 2014 collection, with strappy sateen heels. Grrrrr!

Kim Kardashian did leather too and went with a long sleeved Balmain leather crop top, set of with a Balmain Zebra print high waisted pencil-skirt; and nude Balendciaga ankle wrap pumps. Sexy. Glad the black hair is back!

Jaime King opens up about suffering w/infertility and mulitple miscarriages

Apparently, our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Hart of Dixie actress Jaime King recently opened up to her followers on Instagram sharing her journey to give birth to her first and only child, son James, last October with husband Kyle Newman.

In a post that was accidentally deleted, according to the former model, she opened up about having had:

8 yrs of pain & undiagnosed PSOC & Endometriosis, 5 miscarriages, 5 rounds of IVF, 26 IUIs, most with no outcome, 4-1/2 years of trying to conceive, 26 hours of brutal labor, early delivery b/c of sudden preeclampsia, tearing and tearing after the stitches were in once I was home.

In a followup post, King used the hashtags, #youarenotalone #ihavetobebravetosupportothers #realtalkthatterrifiesus, to cap off her solidarity and empowerment message to many other women out there who may have or are suffering with infertility problems.

We definitely appreciate seeing celebrities open up about struggles that many women face so they are not disillusioned and discouraged by the glossy mags and celeb interviews that project a rosy and easy journey to baby. It’s not the easy for many.

Zoe Saldana blasts media for exposing her pregnancy, she’s having twins

But the Avatar actress has chosen to blast the media for publishing insider information it got from sources about her pregnancy. She took to Twitter to complain:

“I believe that any violation of privacy is nothing good.”~Lech Walesa. I would like to thank all the fucking media for invading our privacy,” she wrote on Thursday.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star looked stunning in a white Chloe Fall 2014 full sleeve tiered dress, accented with red Bionda Castana “Lana” pumps at the Guardians of the Galaxy‘ media event at The Corinthia Hotel in London, England on Friday, July 25.

One day before, she also stunned in a print Valentino dress with a ruffle collar at the UK premiere of the movie at Empire Leicester Square, also in London.

At the Hollywood premiere of the movie on Monday, July 21 at the Dolby Theater in LA, she looked to be attempting to hide the bump in a curious Louis Vuitton outfit. Nice try mama. Her publicist gave up and confirmed the news that week anyway.

Tia and Tamera Mowry to pen Young Adult teen book series

Our favorite Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum twins Tia Mowry Hardrict and sis Tamera Mowry-Housley are penning a young adults series for HarperCollins Children‘s Books called Twintuition. The series will follow the trials of a set of twin siseters who move to a new town with their mom. According to a blurb on E!, the series will be a mix of the sort of antics we saw on the Mowry sisters’ hit 90s TV show Sister, Sister and a hint of supernatural a la The Twilight series.

This new venture adds to the sisters multi-faceted branding, products and productions: they have a maternity and mom products company Needs brand, Tia has a Yoga DVD set out and stars in a NickMom series Instant Mom (recently renewed for a second season), while Tamera’s TV hosting gig on FOX‘s The Real (starting this fall), in addition to other projects. Phew!

These two are really getting their hustle on and giving those other 90s child stars, The Olsen twins, a run for their money.

Shakira headlines 2014 World Cup Pre-Final Closing Ceremony (15 PHOTOS)

We started this FIFA World Cup 2014 with a performance by our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Jennifer Lopez and will end it with one too.

Shakira headlined and performed during the pre-final closing ceremonies today at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil today July 13. She performed alongside Brazilian star Carlinhos Brown. Similarly, Lopez, a Puerto Ricana, sang a medley of tunes including her hit song with Pitbull and Brazilian pop singer Claudia Leitte, “We are One (Ole Ola)”.

The Hips Don’t Lie singer later brought out her one-year old Milan with beau Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique. Total cutie pie!

At the end of the performance, she appeared on stage with her 1 year old son, Milan.

Celebrities who were cheated on while pregnant

Sadly, the rumor mill is reporting that Hank Baskett Jr may have cheated on our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Kendra Wilkinson while she was carrying the couple’s second child. They initially denied the reports until the woman (who happens to also be transgendered) who claims to have had a torrid ongoing affair with Baskett kept giving interviews that revealed some intimate details and Wilkinson allegedly discovered credit card charges for meals with two persons that her hubby could not explain, according to web reports.

This week, Perez Hilton‘s parenting site Perezitos featured a gallery of 11 celebrity women whose partners or spouses allegedly cheated on them while pregnant. We saw some of the women from on our 2010 post about 6 celebs who broke up before their baby was born on the list and noted it missed Brit personality Katie Price, who we blogged about last week.

Price told a British talk show that she felt her husband Kieran Hayler cheated on her because she gained too much weight while pregnant.

Yikes!

Generally, most men stick by their women’s side while she is carrying their child but not all area able to stay faithful during a time when his woman may not be in the mood to have sex, may experience a change in her body she may not like and embrace; and may just be bitchy to her dude. The strongest can sustain their love and relationship through it all.

Jennifer Hudson and Kim Kardashian Fashion Showdown

It’s quite easy for stars to wear the same dresses given that designers make available to stylists the same spectrum of options. Our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Hudson have been captured often in the same outfit within days of one another over the years.

Per the above photo: in April 2011, in an Alexander McQueen epaulet top; last October 2013, in a Donna Karan Draped Plunging-Neck Dress; in March 2013, in a Donna Karan Metallic Foldover Stretch Pencil Skirt;and again in 2011 again, in Herve Leger by Max Azria.

Kelly Rowland is not the first celebrity to work out intensely while pregnant

Just saw on The Wendy Williams Show mention that Kelly Rowland is apparently catching a lot of flak from fans on the Internet over her Instagram pics showing that the Destiny’s Child band member and chart topping solo artist has been having an active pregnancy which includes working out regularly.

Unfortunately, many of her critics must be unaware that maintaining an active lifestyle including regular exercise is actually recommended by doctors so long as it is done in moderation, is balanced with hydration and a healthy diet and is keeping with the type of activity the mom-to-be had before she got pregnant. In other words, inactive cubicle hermits shouldn’t be doing what she is doing to stay fit while pregnant but a globe-trotting performer who dances regularly can. Furthermore, she is not the only physically active and currently pregnant celebrity. MTV’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who is expecting her second child currently with fiance Jionni LaValle, frequenlty shares photos from the gym during this second pregnancy.

Also, former WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, who also known for being the long time ex girlfriend of George Clooney has been on several fitness magazines and done many interviews where she shares all of her work out secrets. She does Pilates 4 times a day and for the “Making of” video for her Fit Pregnancy cover shoot, she explained that she has been working out most days of her pregnancy doing muscle toning work outs sometimes four times a day, playing tennis, hiking, golfing and meditating. Her trainer noted in that Daily Mail article that said Keibler doesn’t eat junk food and eats clean. During her recent baby shower, hosts provided guests healthy sugar-, dairy- and gluten-free foods. Again, it’s all about the type of woman she was before pregnancy. It doesn’t change after pregnancy and just because you didn’t used to see it in social media doesn’t mean Rowland wasn’t a work out fiend before.

Other celebrities like Married to Jonas star Danielle Jonas, who recently welcomed her first child with husband Kevin Jonas, Instagrammed themselves working out often during their respective pregnancies and didn’t seem to get much push-back.

Alec Baldwin‘s Pilates Instructor wife Hilaria Baldwin, Kristin Cavallari, Teresa Palmer and international model Doutzen Kroes all Instagrammed themselves working out during their pregnancies. (see above collage)
