The Pregnant Ballerina welcomed daughter, Lumina Belle

The woman who helped train Natalie Portman for her role in The Black Swan got a special Christmas delivery and welcomed her first child, daughter Lumina Belle on 6am December 26, 2013.

Mary Helen Bowers caught many people’s attention with the beautiful photos of herself she shared on her Instagram account of her in graceful ballet poses while 9 months pregnant.

Bowers, who owns Ballet Beautiful ballet instructions company, got permission from her doctor to dance up until the week before she was scheduled to deliver.

“I just love knowing that when I’m dancing, the baby is dancing,” Bowers, 33, told TODAY Moms. “It’s just been awesome to know there’s this little life that’s sharing in everything you do every day.”

The Columbia University English literature grad danced for 10 years with the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center after getting a full scholarship at age 15 to study at the School of American Ballet in Manhattan. Bowers was invited to join New York City Ballet a year later at age 16.

“I feel like that’s really helped me with my balance and helped prevent back pain and a lot of other aches and pains that are really common with pregnancy,” she said of being able to dance all pregnancy long. “It’s a beautiful time. You feel connected to your body on a level like never before.”

Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams and wife welcome daughter, Sadie

Congratulations to Grey’s Anatomy hunky actor Jesse Williams and his wife Aryn Drake Lee on the birth of their first child, a daughter they named Sadie, in early December, US Weekly confirmed.

Williams has played Dr. Jackson on the award-winning show for four years. He and Drake Lee married in September 2012 after dating for 5 years back when Williams was a high school teacher in New York before getting the Grey’s gig.

Gossip sites discovered last October that the couple were expecting.

Congrats! Great genes. We’re sure she’s a gorgeous baby!

Pregnant Actress Emily Blunt goes on a $35,000 baby shopping spree

Mom-to-be British actress Emily Blunt spent a cool $35,000 in one day’s shopping spree stacking up for items for her baby daughter’s arrival. TMZ reports`that over the weekend The Devil Wears Prada star purchased from luxury baby store Petit Tresor a crib, changing table and other furniture that come the Hollywood Regency Club Collection. Afterwards, Daily Mail states she headed over to the top spot for celebs in tinsel town, Bel Bambini. There she purchased a bunch of must-have necessities like nursing pillows, and more.

Wowza! If you got its, splurge on the best for your little princess.

Blunt, and her husband John Krasinski are expecting their first child together. They announced the news this past September.

Eva Marcille’s Girls Weekend in Caribbean: THIS is how to Maximize a large Instagram Following

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 winner and actress Eva Marcille has shown how to use Instagram to market an event. The mom-to-be and TV hostess offered some of the young women among her nearly half a million people who follow her on Instagram and nearly quarter million on Twitter a chance to hang out with her in the Caribbean this May.

We suppose this will be a post baby trip as the former reality TV star and her beau music producer Kevin McCall are expecting their daughter pretty soon.

It took less than 3 days for the 20 spots to fill up in each of the countries/properties on her tour: Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico, Cayman Islands, Barbados and Anguilla. For packages starting at $800, the All Girls Caribbean Weekend includes hanging with Eva, professional photo shoots, make overs, fashion and beauty tips, relationship talks and more. Those who pay the $2,000 each for the 5 Platinum spots on each stop get a shoot with Eva and their photos published in a non-specified magazine.

That’s not a bad deal if you can afford it and have the time off from work and/or flexibility. And it is also for social good as a portion of the proceeds from the weekends will go to a group called The Right to Rights Foundation, which appears to promote awareness of Human Rights abuse and violations.

And who knows, if she gets consent from participants, she could partner with a production company to film parts of the adventure to sell as a short-run docu series to a cable network.

She previously starred with her girlfriends in the 2012 Oxygen channel reality TV show she produced called Girlfriend Confidential: LA which got a pretty good review as a mostly positive show about the importance of strong female friendships from Common Sense Media. It didn’t get picked up for a second season, meanwhile BadGirls Club is on Season 17. (hmmm. Marinate on that for a bit)

Anywhoo….each day, we see in Instagram and social media, fashion bloggers wearing clothes provided to them by brands who pay the most popular ones upwards to thousands of dollars in promotional funds to do so. It’s great to see these partnerships between influentials and companies take off.

Some people just love social media for its ability to connect with friends, old and new. Others for just clowning around, sharing, news links and memes and getting a distraction from their daily day and life.

And then there are others who use it fully to maximize entrepreneurial and brand promotional opportunities.

Kudos to Eva for using her celeb status and ample following to connect with her fans and followers.

Idris Elba created Twitter mayhem this Saturday when he sent out a provocative tweet that referenced his manhood. See, it’s not just the female celebs who get off on attention. That tweet got retweeted over 7,500 times and faved about 8,600+ times and counting.

AND he kept at it with a follow up saucy Tweet about “releasing the beast” and acknowledgment of the furor and the fact he’s gotten a massive amount of new followers since it.

Well played, handsome Afro-Brit God, well played.

Expect to see men in big bow ties and other celebs hopping on the peen tweet bandwagon soon.

And it was only last December that he was finally admitting to the public that he and his girlfriend, make up artist girlfriend Naiyana Garth are expecting.

Gwen Stefani for O.P.I. was Met Ball’s “Punk” theme inspired (PHOTOS)

Recall when we were ~~stalking~~ checking out mom-to-be again Gwen Stefani‘s Twitter stream and we caught her in the middle of a photo shoot, grinding?

Well it was for a campaign for O.P.I. nail polish which just signed the No Doubt front woman to be featured as a spokesperson. The colors have launched and are now available on line and at national retailers and beauty supply stores.

O.P.I stated in its release these Gwen colors were initially inspired by the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala which had a theme last year, “Punk: Chaos To Couture”

The collection of polishes all that celebrates “the role of music as a major influence in fashion.”

The collection features five nail colors and includes a four-piece mini pack and two-piece set with base coat named “Lay Down That Base”. The polishes retail for $9 each and the mini-pack is $12.95.

So far I’m in love with Hey Baby & Love, Angel, Music Baby, so Posh!

RHOA’s Kenya Moore plans in vitro baby via sperm donor “Fashion Queen’s” Miss Lawrence?

This year, expect to see a new baby from one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members. No not soon to be newlywed Kandi Burruss. The show resident Gone with the Wind Fabulous diva, Kenya Moore.

The former Miss USA told Life and Style magazine recently that she is preparing to undergo in vitro fertilization.

“I plan on having a baby next year,” the exercise DVD producer said last December. “Within the next six months, I hope to be pregnant.”

The gorgeous cast member, who is the nemesis to past Bellyitch Bumpwatch mom Phaedra Parks, added that she may ask her hairstylist friend Miss Lawrence (who stars in BravoTV’s Fashion Queens) or a mystery man she is seeing to donate the sperm.

She could always do the anonymous donor route as Monica Cruz did last year.

Last year,the model and dancer, who is also the sister to actress Penelope Cruz, got pregnant via in vitro fertilization and an anon donor as well.

” To become pregnant, I turned to artificial insemination… I want to tell also so I can have the opportunity to show my thanks to all those anonymous men that give many women like me, the dream of their lives,” she explained to Spanish magazine Pais in January of her decision to come clean about her pregnancy in the press.

The gorgeous 36-year old welcomed a daughter on May 14, a few months before sister Penelope welcomed her daughter on July 22 with her husband Javier Bardem.
