This weekend, stars were out and about looking fabulous as usual but three stood out style-wise:

Blake Lively was fierce in a tailored man’s suit compliments of a sharp pin-striped Zimmerman blazer, vest, and palazzo pants. Get the Striped crinkled silk wide-leg pants HERE and the blazer HERE!

While attending Atlanta rapper 2-Chainz’s wedding to longtime girlfriend Kesha Ward, Kim Kardashian-West sizzled in neon yellow Atsuko Kudo curve hugging dress with Gianvito Rossi Portofino Ankle-Strap Sandals. Sizzling!

Finally, actress and dancer Jenna Dewan looked lovely in a beautiful floral feminine Jill Stuart dress with Nicholas Kirkwood heels. Get a similar dress here

And Lively and Tatum stayed true to a uniform look all weekend with both being spotted out and about in similar looks. Lively in yet another unique man suit, this time by Roland Mouret with Christian Louboutin heels while carrying a Valentino purse and Tatum in a cute off the Cotton On shoulder frock!

Celeb Moms at 2018 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet

Nickelodeon‘s Teen Choice Awards went this weekend at The Forum on March 24, 2018 in Inglewood, California. The event isn’t just for teens but some of the stars they admire including adults.

Our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums who are among our fave celeb moms Kristen Bell, Heidi Klum and Tiffani Thiessen also walked the red carpet. Bell and Klum presented awards, and Klum and our other alum Mel B, both America’s Got Talent judges, got slimed.

Frequent feature Gal Gadot won for Choice Film Actress.

Mel B posed on the carpet with her children, daughters 19-year old Pheonix Chi Gulzar, 10-year old Angel Iris Murphy Brown and 6-year old Madison Brown Belafonte, with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte‘s daughter Giselle. Melanie Brown wore a silver catsuit! Grrrrr!

Bell wore a top and skirt by Emilia Wickstead, Faris earrings, and Jimmy Choo shoes while carrying a Meli Melo bag. Klum wore a dress by Redemption, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry on the red carpet. While presenting, Heidi wore a Vatinika top, Rosacha pants, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

The singer-actress is being hailed for recently chartering several planes along with fellow puertorriqueno recording-artist Pitbull to her parents’ native Puerto Rico to deliver much needed supplies after Hurricane Maria ravished the US property in the Caribbean, along with the Virgin Islands and other islands.

She courierered sick and dying people back to the main land for treatment and rescue and also pledged $1M for relief efforts!

Bravo!

And she is looking great while doing it. We adore the cropped sweat top, yoga pants and bright yellow Nike Women’s Air Presto Flyknit Ultra Running Shoe Alternate she wore while toting a fierce Christian Louboutin Paloma bag and green aviators, hair in tight up bun.

Blake Lively is Learning to Love Her New Mom Curves

Blake Lively is feeling good about herself and her body, just five month after giving birth to her second child with Ryan Reynolds.

The mother-of-two chatted with E! News‘ Zanna Roberts Rassi at the L’Oréal Paris “Galentine’s Day” event Monday night—entirely curated and party-planned by Lively—where she was joined by her sister, Robyn Lively. Blake, 29, got to chatting about how pregnancy has not only changed her body, but taught her to appreciate it so much.

In fact, the actress got candid about getting back into shape after baby No. 2, saying, “It’s all a process. You know after the second kid it’s really different. So this is not my normal body, but I like it.”

She continued, “I’m learning to love my body in every iteration and that’s hard for women, and I learned a lot.”

Blake took that confidence with her to the event, looking stunning in a flirty, navy SemSem dress adorned with hearts and polka dots. She accessorized the look with a pair of Christian Louboutin spike-studded stilettos and a maroon purse.

That radiating confidence is something Blake was hoping to spread at the L’Oreal party with women celebrating women.

“L’Oréal told me this idea they had to have a Valentine’s event with your gals—your best girlfriends,” she told us. “I thought, ‘Right now, more than ever, it’s so great that women are coming together and supporting each other and building each other up.’ I got a little too involved. I said, ‘I don’t really just want to show up. I sort of want to plan it.’ It’s a lot more fun to plan a party when it’s not on your dime. I changed the party a bit.”

But party-planning aside, it was the message behind the event that was most important to the mother of two daughters.

“This is the first time in my lifetime where I have been aware of a women’s worth being questioned. I know it happens all the time everywhere, but I never felt it,” the actress explained. “It’s made me so much more aware and empathetic to the challenges that women face always, because I’ve been really fortunate. I think it’s just so important that we come together and build each other up—and that we remind women of their value. It’s really beautiful to see women come together. It’s something I’ve never seen.”

Natalie Portman is Usually Pregnant During her Road to Oscar

Pregnant women can do it all. Case in point: Natalie Portman.

The Academy Award-winning actress had the nerve to look this fashionably adorable in a gorgeous flowing floral Alexander McQueen frock while accepting the award for Best Actress at this week’s Critics’ Choice Awards this week.

She brilliantly rocked Steve Madden heels, a Christian Louboutin clutch, and Cartier jewelry at the event held this past December 11th.

The Israeli-American star also got a top actress nod for the 2017 Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild! This path is reminiscent to the last time she was expecting her first child Aleph, a son with her French choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied.

Portman received the equivalent of the est Actress award for her role in Black Swan at the Critics’ Choice, Screen Actors Guild, Golden Globes and Academy Awards in 2011-2012.

The second time mom-to-be is much buzzed to also be nominated for and to take home a Best Actress Oscar win for her role as Jackie Kennedy in the critically -acclaimed biopic Jackie.

The movie follows the late former First Lady during the days after her husband John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in November 22, 1963.

The 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards was held at Barker Hangar on December 11, 2016 in Santa Monica, California.

Apparently, she breathed life into the roll and was quite compelling.

Celeb Moms Gathered to Celebrate at 5th Annual Baby2Baby Gala

Kristen Bell, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Jaime King and Kate Hudson attend the 5th annual Baby2Baby event.

Plenty of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums attended the Fifth Annual Baby2Baby Gala, Presented By John Paul Mitchell Systems at 3LABS on November 12, 2016 in Culver City, California.

The event honored actress Jennifer Garner who received the Baby2Baby Giving Tree Award for her ongoing dedication to children in need around the world.

Our faves attended the event that raises funds on behalf of the organization that collects clothing, diapers and other personal items for impoverished women and raised $3 Million dollars, E! Online reports.

Many of the women are honorary or official board members and looked fabulous while supporting.

Jessica Alba wore a black fringed Valentino dress and carried an Edie Parker box clutch as did others at the event including Kristen Bell who wore a David Koma and a pair of silver Christian Louboutin pumps and Kate Hudson in J. Mendel.

Miranda Kerr looked exquisite at the event in a Reem Acra gown and Jenna Dewan Tatum was there too and she rocked it out in pink and embroidered one shoulder cut out Marchesa dress

Other attendees included Camila Alves, Kelly Rowland, Rachel Bilson, Molly Sims, Christina Aguilera, Busy Phillips and Miranda Kerr. They each looked stunning!

BoyzIIMen performed. Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors Foundation, John Paul Mitchell Systems and Volvo sponsored the event.

All the 2016 Oscars Red Carpet fashion We Loved

Sunday night’s 88th Academy Awards‘ red carpet didn’t disappoint. I loved loved the dresses tonight worn on all of the blog’s Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California! Here are my faves and why they rocked:

Oh my!! Olivia Wilde, a presenter tonight, killed in this white Valentino Haute Couture Grecian-style gown! Gorg! I loved the crown braid which matched the regal look and the choker was quite stylish, fitting and trendy with her Roger Vivier clutch and Neil Lane jewels.

Another winning look! Charlize Theron, another presenter and former Best Actress Oscar winner, sizzled in this crimson Dior dress with a plunging neckline and long train. Loved that Neil Lane forefinger ring and her other jewels. She had Jimmy Choos on her feet.

Kerry Washington, who presented tonight, looked hawt, haute, hot in this sexy Versace dress with a fitted leather bodice and a deep slit. She accented her look with Harry Winston jewels.

Past Oscar winner and 2016 Best Supporting Actress Academy Award nominee for her role in Steve Jobs Kate Winslet brought her A-game in this strapless black Ralph Lauren gown. She set off her look with Nirav Modi jewels and Christian Louboutin heels.

Jennifer Garner went with black too but in this off the shoulder sequined and satin Versace with a Salvator Ferragamo clutch (not pictured. she accented her look with Rene Caovilla shoes and Neil Lane jewels. She also presented.

I adored mom-to-be Chrissy Teigen‘s nude with rose embellishment overlay Marchesa gown with a delicate train. It hugged the Tv host & model’s new curves perfectly. Teigen is also wearing Lorraine Schwartz jewels, Stuart Weitzman heels and carrying an elegant wine colored Swarovski clutch.

I thought past Oscar winner and tonight’s presenter Reese Witherspoon looked quite elegant in her strapless eggplant colored Oscar de la Renta dress accentuated with sparkling jewels from Tiffany’s and Jimmy Choo shoes which you can’t see in this photo.

Finally, Emily Blunt‘s blush elegant Prada dress was feminine and soft. The actress went with Niwaka jewels, Sophia Webster heels and a box clutch by Judith Leiber.

My couple fave was Pharrell Williams, who presented tonight, and is seen above his wife Helen Lascichanh who looked dapper as he. I saw people take some jabs at him but I’m digging the singer songwriter and former Oscar nominee’s hair. Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde and John Legend and Teigen were pretty hawt too!

2015 Prime Time Emmy Awards Red Carpet and Winners

Watching the red carpet to the 67th Annual Primtime EmmyAwards at Microsoft Theater tonight, I must say I was really loving all the creative and different silhouettes, daring cutouts and experiments with texture on the styles of clothing.

Early photos I saw revealed a lot of prom and pageant-like dresses, and very full skirts and structured boring looks we’ve seen before on the Miss Universe stage, but then when I began to dig deep into the photo galleries and I was wowed by Amy Poehler‘s midriff revealing black Michael Kors Collection dress with spaghetti halter straps. Grrrrr!

And January Jones‘ emerald Ulyana Sergeenko jumpsuit with a starfish brooch at the hip was to die for!

Kerry Washington did not disappoint this time in a silver metallic Marc Jacobs with futuristic cap shoulders, Casadei pumps and Harry Winston jewels. Love Love!

Mad Men‘s Jessica Pare brought out the color in her pink Monse halter dress, accented with Fred Leighton jewels and Christian Louboutin heels.

Many were nominated and several took home awards like Julia Louis-Dreyfus who won again for the 4th straight year in a row as the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Veep.

And Congratulations to Viola Davis for her historic win as the first African American woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her role in How to Get Away With Murder tonight. Bravo! She rocked this stage in a righteous twist-out fro complemented nicely in a white with black print Carmen Marc Valvo gown, Stuart Weitzman shoes, and Neil Lane jewels.

Congrats also to Regina King who played a protective Muslim mother in the mini-series drama American Crime and for her role on that version of the series nabbed the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series of Movie!

She took her son Ian to the ceremony and acknowledged him in her speech for a win she really didn’t expect, as she explained to ET!

These were big wins given the fact that historically in the US, there are not that many roles written and cast for black women to play so they can outshine their contemporaries at the time and earn wins.

Very Cool.

King looked nice though the color and frame of the dress was underwhelming for her powerful and strong body. The back was banging tho. Owww!

Maggie Gyllenhaal did the ball gown thing in Oscar de la Renta with Fred Leighton jewels. I don’t have enough words for Heidi Klum‘s dress and I found the fit of Claire Danes‘ Prada dress a bit off for her tonight.

Veep‘s Anna Chlumsky brought some glam in Bibhu Mohapatra and Chopard jewels and Sofia Vergara did the usual old Hollywood glam vixen figure-hugging fishtail look. Seen it before. It’s her signature and works for her I guess but she really should change things up.

Weekend Red Carpet Roundup

It’s been a busy couple of weekends for red carpet star-studded events starting with the June 2nd Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens in London, England.

We spotted several Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums like Kerry Washington killing it in a black David Komo bandeau top with gold embellished slim skirt with a deep split also by David Komo. Kate Hudson too was bringing this season’s plunging neckline trend to the forefront in her eye-catching Burnt Orange J.Mendel dress, accented with a gold Jimmy Choo clutch and Brian Atwood pumps. Rochelle Humes looked elegant as well.

Yesterday, at Spike TV‘s Guy Choice 2015 at Sony Picture Studios in Culver, City, we spotted Taraji P. Henson showcasing the white on white trend. With no surprise “Cookie” took home the Jean-Claude Ghad Dam award while another Bellyitch Bumpwatch babe Salma Hayek walked away with the much deserved Decade of Hotness award.

Tonight, at the Tony Awards, we saw a Jennifer Lopez was serving up the old Hollywood glam with the her wavy do in a darker shade than she’s been wearing lately. Her Valentino Couture gown was elegant and perfectly accentuated with Harry Winston jewels, a Jimmy Choo purse and Christian Louboutin heels. Anna Chlumsky was also in the house in an eggplant colored form fitting Sophie Theallet dress.

I also adored what Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles wore too. She was gorg.

My fave look for the weekend was not worn by a mom but Vanessa Hudgens. I loved the big bold floral patterns in this with the deep plunging neckline Naeem Khan gown. She looked Amaze Balls!

Louboutin who? Jimmy Choo and Monolo Blahnik make a red carpet comeback

It’s probably safe to assume that Zuhair Murad made a splash at this year’s Academy Awards, outfitting many celebrity women including Anna Farris, Jennifer Lopez, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Aniston among others.

Besides this design house’s red carpet success, I’ve noticed a resurgence of women wearing Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik pumps too this award season. The two lines feature low heeled and delicate architecture, and were once made popular by Sarah Jessica Parker‘s character Carrie Bradshaw on the hit HBO series Sex in the City. She craved them and would forgoe eating and paying rent to get her hands on the coveted shoes.

But with Christian Louboutin becoming a recent hit, the old faves of the late 90s had all but disappeared at high society events.

It’s refreshing to see more shoes with more sensible heights for moms and moms-to-be make a comeback!
