Daphne Oz Welcomes 4th Child, Daughter ‘GiGi’

Congrats, the world has another baby Gigi!

Nutritionist, natural chef and TV Host of The Dish on Oz and Master Chef Junior judge welcomed her fourth child, a baby girl, last Wednesday, August 14th.

The Chew on CBS alum shared the tender moment when her oldest daughter 5-year old Philomena Bijou met her newborn sister Giovanna “Gigi” Ines Jovanovic, on her Instagram page.

(btw: love the nickname because it is also my daughter Gabrielle’s nickname as well.)

“Thank you so much for celebrating with us!! we’re home now and settling in to life as a family of 6,” the proud mama captioned a photo of herself cradling her newborn and one of her daughters.

 

Oz and her husband John Jovanovic are already parents to  5-year old daughter Philomena, 3-year old son Jovan and 1-year old daughter Domenica.

Daphne Oz and Hilaria Baldwin share Healthy Eating Tips on Dr. Oz

Two of our Bellyitch alums were featured on The Dr. Oz Show this week talking healthy eating and snacking.

The Chew co-host alum Daphne Oz and celebrity yoga instructor and author  Hilaria Baldwin shares tips and suggestions and recipes. Daphne is expecting her third child with husband JohnJovanovic.

On the show which took place this Wednesday, September 2y, Baldwin discussed how she switched up the family diet to accommodate her husband Alec Baldwin’s “Pre-Diabetes” diagnosis.

I live in a family of pre-Diabetic so I could relate. Watch:

Also, I’ve been a fan of Mediterranean snacking on dried fruit, nuts, figs, seeds and grains lately so I’m definitely going to be making the healthy almond butter snacks that Daphne, whose written several best-selling cook books, featured on this week’s show!

I didn’t know Daphne OZ, (Dr. Oz’s daughter) from The Chew was expecting her second child. She and her investment analyst hubby John Jovanovic  welcomed a son, Jovan Jovanovic ((JJ for short) about 6 weeks ago.  Pooh!





The couple have an almost two year old daughter Philomena Bijou  (nicknamed Philo for short), who they welcomed last February. The thing with pregnant TV hosts on daily shows is they have the best stylist to hook them up with the most adorbs looks. And Oz names the brands she wears so her fans and followers on social media can get the same style or look.  Awesome sauce! And now, all the photos we didn’t get to stalk earlier. Daphne Oz returns to ‘The Chew’ with new baby, Her Maternity Retrospect in PHOTOS

 The Chew‘s Daphne Oz came back to the show after delivering her first child, daughter, Philomena Bijou Jovanovic, in February, 26.
The TV host actually announced the baby’s name on her dad, Dr. Oz’s, show last month, on March 4th and since we didn’t get to really bumpwatch her progression, we’re sharing a retro of her bump progression selfies from Instagram for ya! Philomena is Dr. Oz’s first grandchild.
Congrats Daphne and hubby investment analyst John Jovanovic, who showed up on set to show off baby today. She’s nicknamed Philo or PBJ, in honor of the popular sandwich, perfect for a host of a TV show for foodies. Daphne said picked the middle name Bijou for its French meaning, which translates to ‘jewel.’

The Chew’s Daphne Oz dishes to Wendy Williams, says dad Dr.Oz won’t be in delivery room

Can we adopt The Chew TV hostess Daphne Oz as our celebrity pregnancy spokes model?
The mom-to-be whose dad is famed TV doc Dr. Oz visited The Wendy Williams show on January 22 and dished on her pregnancy. Daphne and her investment banker husband since 2010 John Jovanovic  are expecting their first baby on March 6.
Daphne was featured on the cover of the latest issue of Fit Pregnancy  magazine and it is fitting as she has a healthy approach to unloading the post-pregnancy weight.
“First of all, I didn’t start off a size 2 so I’m not trying to get back there,” the down-to-earth blond said after revealing she struggled with her weight her entire life. “I also kind of feel like it took me 9 months to get here, I put on like 30 lbs, it’s going to take 9 months to get back there.”
Kudos!
 “I’m not rushing there,” she added. “My most important thing is to keep my nutrition strong,so I want to breastfeed, so I want my baby to get everything, I’m not going on a diet route.”
We also love her healthy approach to sensuality. When Wendy pried as she does so well and inquired about Daphne Oz’s sex life, she opened up about how pregnancy actually liberated her from issues she had growing up.
Like many women, she said she had body image issues and never felt comfortable in her clothes and skin but being pregnant “you own every bit of it.”
She added, “that’s the most attractive quality, I mean I think pregnancy is sexy anyway, but I think that you can own your self-confidence, that’s the biggest thing,” 
Oz has 6 weeks left and is due March 6. She said she is getting the ultimate “push” present and doesn’t know the gender of her baby. She also told Wendy that her dad will NOT be in the delivery room but her mom and husband will.
