Inside Eva Longoria’s Outdoor Pajama Baby Shower

Devious MaidsEva Longoria and her husband Joe Baston celebrated the impending arrival of their first child together, a son, at an outdoor pajama yellow and white themed baby shower earlier this month held at Lombardi House in Hollywood.

The Desperate Housewives alum wore a strapless off the shoulder lace maxi dress to the festive and sunny garden event.

Along with family and friends, celeb pals like Desperate Housewives co-star Marcia Cross was there along with Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin, Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks, One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Melissa Fumero and others attended.

The brunch event featured a photo booth. Also, guests were pampered with massage chairs and hair and makeup artists on hand to spruce them up.

The backdrop featured yellow balloons spelling out ‘Baby Baston‘ decorated the outside area near the dining tables.

A  Bloody Mary bar with drinks topped with gerkins and bacon and glasses of rose wine were passed out. It is reported Longoria broke down into tears when her husband gave an emotional speech thanking guests for coming.

The couple were showered with lavish gifts including a diaper cake, bath toys, books, car seats, clothes and a very nice yellow and white carnation decorated pram.

Inside Naya Rivera’s ‘Tee Pee’- inspired Nursery

Glee alum actress Naya Rivera showed off her neutral toned nursery inside an exclusive shoot for  MyDomaine.

The beautiful petite mom-to-be and her husband since July 2014 Ryan Dorsey are expecting their first child in a couple of months.

Rivera revealed in the feature that she built the entire nursery around a cute black and white Tee Pee she discovered at LandOfNod.

From there, the Devious Maids star added neutral elements, sentimental items, and other eclectic and unique pieces.

“I love so many things in the nursery, but my favorite would have to be the bird chandelier,” Rivera said about the copper wire piece hanging from the ceiling. “It’s so fun and adds a pop of color and youth!”

The black and white accessories like the Eivor throw from Ikea were added to accommodate the fact that babies see in black and white for the first few weeks of their lives.

She did add pops of color to mix up the black, white, cream and gray.

“My favorite item in the bookshelf is the photo of Ryan and I at our wedding, and the baby’s ultrasound picture,” Rivera shares. “You can see the baby’s face so clearly!”

Her designer Angelo Surmelis was going for a gender neutral design that was still kid-friendly.

Rivera posted a quick snippet of the behind the scenes video from the shoot on her Instagram account.

Everything works well though we think the patterned wall paper is a bit too much stimulation for a nursery where baby is supposed to be sleeping in and not playing. Perhaps she will tone it down later.
