Tonight on E! News, rapper Cardi B sits down to talk about an upcoming fashion collaboration with Fashion Nova which launches on November 15.
She also chats a bit about experiencing postpartum blues and warns expecting moms or future moms that postpartum depression and other hormones or mental health-related conditions could result after they give birth.
“There is no way I could get postpartum [depression] right now,” the Bodak Yellow singer shares. “My life is great right now. I have money. I have a baby. Everything is good in my marriage. There’s no way.”
Then she talks about being hit with emotions from left field, adding: “Out of nowhere, you just feeling so vulnerable, and sad and overprotective, and you just need a lot of love and hugs.”
About the collaboration with the LA-based fast fashion bodycon clothing line which markets almost exclusively among celebrity and other online influencers:
“They are always loyal to me. It’s like a friendship now,” she said of the brand that the Business of Fashion websites states churns out 1,000 new items a week. “I’m also really proud of them. Their brand has sold so much, and I have sold so much at the same time and it’s like, ‘Yay, we did it!’ We both did it at the same time.”
According to a recent Piper Jaffray survey, Fashion Nova was the sixth most popular e-commerce site among upper-income teens, beating out brands including Forever 21, Lululemon and Adidas.
