Janet Jackson is reportedly set to name her soon-to-be-born first child after her two late brothers.
RadarOnline cites an inside source close to the family who says the pop singer will “honor both Michael and Brandon,” the inside source says. “It’s something that her husband, Wissam Al Mana, agreed to when she got pregnant.”
In 1957, mom and dad, Katherine and Joseph Jackson welcomed twin boys, Marlon and Brandon but Brandon died shortly after birth.
Janet is the youngest of Joe and Katherine’s 10 children.
Janet was very close and had an endearing friendship to the youngest son in the family, Michael Jackson. They also bonded over being the most famous of all their siblings.
The King of Pop died at home on June 25, 2009 and left behind three children, who he named after himself and their parents: Prince Michael Jackson II, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson and Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr.
It’s a family tradition.
Janet and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, married in 2012 during a private ceremony.
