It looks like the lovely Malika Haqq
was treated to another baby shower over the weekend.
No confirmation but, perhaps it was a smaller, more intimate one with her very close family and perhaps the family of dad of baby, rapper O.T. Genasis’ family.
The actress and TV personality posted a photo of herself in a sash with inflated balloons spelling out “baby boy” above her
She captioned an Instagram slide show post that she also shared to her Twitter account, “I couldn’t be happier.”
The photos featured the reality TV star sitting in front of a fireplace in a strapless baby blue bump-hugging dress while wearing one of those “mom-to-be” sashes that baby shower hosts make the guest of honor wear. (Smile)
Last month, her bestie Khloe Kardashian threw her a very elaborate and lush bear-themed baby shower.
Haqq used the occasion to confirm that that OT was the dad as he was present at the event, as well.
Meanwhile, Haqq has been sharing lovely photos of herself in neutral clothing while promoting her fashion partner, online boutique Pretty Little Things.
We love her new photos
Khloe Kardashian officially announced the gender of her first child with beau Tristan Thompson during the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
After the episode, the youngest followed up with an Instagram post.
”It’s a girl!!! SO blessed!! I can’t wait to welcome another beautiful baby girl into our family! Congrats my beauty @khloekardashian and @realtristan13 !! God is good!! ? ?
On the episode this past Sunday, Khloe was certain she was having a boy.
In a clip from that episode, Khloe is talking with sister Kim and says, “I am pretty much convinced I am having a boy.” Kim agrees with Khloe and the expectant mama goes on to admit, “I have such anxiety and nerves to find out what I am having.”
After baby sister Kylie Jenner, new mom to daughter Stormi Webster, calls with the news that Khloe is also having a girl, Khloe says after hanging up that she hopes Kylie was lying.
She apparently really had her mind on boy.
The Revenge Body host later explained her reaction.
“God gives us what we need! His timing is never wrong! My hormones were IN RARE FORM for that news,” she tweeted. “I am now so excited my daughter will have forever best friends with Chicago and Stormi!! God is great!!! Thank you Lord for our princess.”
When you’re a Jenner or a Kardashian, you really cannot catch a break as Khloe Kardashian learned when she did the most natural thing most expecting women do: cradle her bump.
Serious. People are criticizing the Good American Apparel company co-founder for being so emotionally connected to the tiny human she is incubating that she *gasps* dares to touches his temporary home, her baby bump. Kardashian addressed the critics in a tweet this week:
“People are very opinionated about my bump. I choose to cradle my bump because it’s MINE,” Kardashian wrote in a tweet posted on Wednesday, February 28. “I’ve waited for this VERY short moment for YEARS. I have only months to enjoy this phase in my life, so I will touch my bump and love my bump as often as I choose. Mommy loves you baby!”
She got about 1,000 or so kind responses and then took some time to personally reply back to the kind tweeters and well-wishers.
Whether she is posing for the red carpet or caught by the paparazzi, she should not be attacked for being maternal. I assume most of the hate came from people who have never experienced pregnancy before, either as a mother or a close relative to a pregnant person. It’s because of these occasional barbs from the public that so many people in the public eye elect to try to conceal their pregnancy for the duration. Example: Kylie Jenner.
Kardashian and her beau NBA player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Tristan Thompson, are expecting their first child, a baby boy.
