Celebrity Pregnancy: To Hide Pregnancy or Disclose Early

We learned recently that George Clooney’s fiance Amal Alamuddin is not pregnant as widely reported, neither is Duchess Catherine (Kate Middleton), who both were victim to the very common celebrity pregnancy rumors speculation. IB Times even posted a photo essay with proof why the wife to Prince William was not pregnant and dealing with a miscarriage.

Conventional wisdom is to wait until the pregnancy is 3 months along to announce to friends and family. Most celebs do that as well. Currently preggers Kourtney Kardashian didn’t wait and shared news about her second pregnancy when she was only 9 weeks along. Some speculated it was done to deflect attention away from her sister Khloe who was dealing with a troubled marriage at the time. Recently, Michelle Duggar’s daughter Jill Duggar reacted to chatter over her decision to choose to disclose her pregnancy early.

They didn’t even wait for fans to notice a bump and start speculating.

But what about those currently pregnant women who did wait? We went over recent pics and noticed that although they tried Shakira, Zoe Saldana, Mila Kunis and Eva Mendes looked and did things (like cusp their belly) that gave away the fact they really were pregnant even amidst wild buzz that they were expecting!

They fooled no one! Ha! Congrats moms-to-be!

Kourtney Kardashian shows off bikini bump & Happy Birthday Penelope Disick

Today, mom-to-be Kourtney Kardashian celebrates the 2nd birthday of her daughter Penelope Disick! A few days ago, she shared a photo of herself on her Instagram account sunbathing with her baby girl while vacationing still in the Hamptons where she and the family have been staying for the summer while also filming their E! Reality TV show, Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Kardashian and her on-again-off-again beau Scott Disick confirmed last month that they are indeed expecting a third child. They are also parents to son, Mason.

Kourtney Kardashian hosts Nori West’s First Birthday party (PHOTOS)

Mom-to-be Kourtney Kardashian hosted her niece Baby Nori’s first birthday party at her Calabasas, California home. The celebration for mom Kim Kardashian and dad Kanye West’s first kid had the theme, “Kidchella” party, prototyped after the popular desert music festival Coachella.

Guests came dressed in festival-type gear and enjoyed a rented Ferris wheel, hippie style Native American peace pipe tee pees, face painting and food carts selling things like churros and lemonade.

“Kim and Kanye made sure it was very special,” a source told PEOPLE magazine.“There were many fun activities for the kids…All the kids had the best time.”

Before this celebration, West and Kim took North out to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan for her actual birthday which fell on Father’s Day, June 15.

Many of the guests to the home, which previously was owned by pop star Justin Bieber, included aunties, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Jaden Smith, Blac Chyna and her son King Cairo. Fashion: Celeb-style summer Swim options for baby girls

Summer is around the corner. Parents to little girls have many more options of pretty and fun bathing suit options. As we’ve posted about in the past, some even include bikinis which can get controversial as when Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope Disick was photographed in one as a baby and a pre-schooler.

But at the end of the day, the bathing suits are only sexualized based on who is in it. A cross-dressing man in a bikini wouldn’t be considered sexually provocative for most people, neither obese people who society deems shouldn’t be wearing one because it exposes their not-so-ideal bodies, per traditional standards. Therefore, unless you are looking at a baby in a sexual way, is there anything wrong with him or her in one?

All that being said, our partners Alex and Alexa has loads of bathing options for girls that are super cute, and some on the pricey end because they are usually from couture and expensive labels, but there are affordable options too.

Kardashian Kollection’s latest kid’s line to debut this Father’s Day

Just in time for Father’s day! The Kardashian Kollection children’s line announced on Instagram recently that a new set of designs are set to debut at their online store and distributor partners at Babies R Us on June 15.

Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly pregnant with her 3rd child

The rumor mill says that Kourtney Kardashian and long time beau Scott Disick are expecting their third child together. A source tells US Weekly that the couple, who are parents to 4-year old son Mason and 23-months old daughter Penelope, planned the latest editions.

Kardashian apparently told her sister Kim Kardashian during an episode of the family’s hit E! TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians that she didn’t believe in birth control any longer, and wants to have more children.

Congrats if the early reporting proves true. You never know.

US Weekly accused of photoshopping Prince George

Gossip magazine US Weekly is under fire for “allegedly” altering a photo of Prince George.

As Page Six noted, George, son to Kate Middleton and Prince William, appeared paler and less rosy than depicted on the cover of the mag this week. His eyes also appeared slightly greener as well in the mag.

The editors denied it.

“The original image used for the Prince George cover was dark and bluish in tone and needed to be given an overall color shift for printing purposes,” a spokesperson for US Weekly stated. “By no means did we go in and alter the color of his eyes or cheeks in this process.”

What do you think?

It wouldn’t be the first time a magazine has edited a baby’s complexion and look, if true.

British mag OK! looked to have done the opposite. A photo of Kourtney Kardashian and her son Mason appeared as if Mason had been lightened.

KourtneyK addressed the cover photo, but to object to the way the mag photoshopped her to be thinner. Editors also photoshopped color of her top.

In reply, Kardashian tweeted, “One of those weeklies got it wrong again…they didn’t have an exclusive with me. And I gained 40 pounds while pregs, not 26…But thanks.”

It’s the type of distortion that causes women to think they should be a certain weight immediately after having a baby.
