R&B Singer Melanie Fiona welcomes First Child, Son, Cameron Lincoln

Congratulations to one of the most underated powerhouse singers around, Melanie Fiona, and her singer-songwriter partners Jared Cotteron on the birth of their first child together, son Cameron Lincoln.

The “5 Am” singer announced the news on March 16 by posting a first photo of her precious bundle of joy on her Instagram account.

“Forever in Love. ? Our Son, Cameron Lincoln was born on March 14th 2016,” she captioned a close up of the family. “Life has greater purpose than ever before… There is only Now. I am a Mother. What a great honour, What a miraculous gift.”

She added: “I am so thankful for this Love in my life.Surrounded by Kings…I will cherish you always. Thank YOU all so much for the love and support you have shown Jared and I throughout our journey to parenthood. We are ready… We are #Awake xo”

As Rap-Up reported, “Fiona is also gearing up to deliver her third album Awake, which she describes as a ;rebirth.’ The project has already spawned the singles ‘Bite the Bullet,’I Tried,’ and ‘I Want It All.’

She revealed her pregnancy this past November 2015 in an Instagram video clip for the latter, which can be seen below:

The singer, who killed it on her 2009 tune “Give it To Me“, told xoNecole that she met Cotter a couple years ago “I knew I couldn’t have found love and have been open to it if I had not let go of all the other things that were in the way,” Fiona told the site.

“I spent a lot of time on my own, working on myself and I think that’s what’s led me now to be in a really good relationship. I feel like I served myself and I fulfilled a lot of the things that I needed to do for myself as a woman, and I feel like that’s so important.”

Cotter, also a singer-songwriter, took to Instagram to follow up his girl’s announcement too.

“We re so excited for this next chapter of our lives!” the very handsome “There is no greater blessing and I’m so happy to go on this journey with my best friend and love of my life. I’m gonna be a Dad!!! Thank you for choosing us. I promise we won’t let you down. I love you.”

Kim Kardashian threw Chrissy Teigen and John Legend a 2nd Baby Shower (PHOTOS)

So Chrissy Teigen too got a second baby shower. This time is was thrown by Kim Kardashian West and hosted at her new home. It was attended by our other Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Kourtney Kardashian, their sister Khloe and their friends.

Not sure if McDonald’s sponsored this event, but there were plenty photo opps with the fast food giant’s items. I guess it was low key. There was also what looks like Cinabons dressed as baby carriages. Cute!

Guests, which included sportscaster Erin Andrews, Jenna Dewan and Kinka Kelly, played a lullaby-themed game, danced in the kitchen and shared plenty of photos on social media, according to UPI.

“Mcmuffins, frosties, taco bell…i cannot handle what happened today. overwhelmed with gratitude and love. this baby is too lucky!” Teigen tweeted. “I’ve officially had more showers than i’ve attended. i have the greatest friends on this entire planet.”

Oh and dad-to-be John Legend was there too!

Teigen had a first baby shower, attended by actress Brooklyn Decker and model Petra Nemcova and others on March 6 in SoHo in New York City while promoting her new cook book.

Teigen and Legend married in 2013 and announced that they were expecting their first child in October.

Of course, the Kardashian crew shared the pics plenty on social media, in particular all of their Instagram accounts. I put them together in a collage above for your gawking pleasure!

Kelly Rowland to Launch a Make-Up Line for ‘Chocolate Girls’; Joins Michelle Obama’s First Single

Given the limit of quality make up for darker complexioned women, singer phenom Kelly Rowland will soon fill the void by collaborating with her make up artist Sheika Daley to release a line of make up for “chocolate girls” as she described it to Essence magazine.

In a recent interview at a Claritin and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America-sponsored event, the former Destiny’s Child girl band member gave some deets about the upcoming project.

“My makeup artist Sheika Daley and I are actually starting a makeup line we’re making sure we make, well, we’re starting off with lashes and then we’re going to have it grow for all women,” Rowland told Essence. “But definitely making sure we have our chocolate girls covered. Gotta get the chocolate girls in there! We have to have that, you know. I think Iman has done a beautiful makeup line and I want to do it too!”

No word yet on its actual launch date or what stage in production the line is currently.

When not designing make up lines, Rowland and our other Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum and current second-time mom-to-be Kelly Clarkson were lending their voices to First Lady Michelle Obama‘s first single.

The empowerment anthem, titled, “This is For My Girls”, also features Zendaya, Janelle Monae, Chloe & Halle, Jadagrace and Lea Michele, Billboard notes.

Veteran songwriter Diane Warren penned the song, Rap-Up reports.

It is all part of the Obama administration’s Let Girls Learn initiative and the White House’s #62MillionGirls campaign, which aims to help “more than 62 million girls around the world” complete their education.

VH1’s ‘The Family Hustle’ Stars Tiny and Rapper T.I. welcome newest child, a baby girl

Congratulations to Tameka “Tiny” Harris on the birth of her fifth child, a little girl. The reality TV star of VH1’s The Family Hustle shared the news in an official statement saying her baby girl made a surprise early entrance.

“While we expected her to arrive around April 20th, our PERFECT baby girl decided March 26th was the right time for her DEBUT,” the statement read. “My husband, Tip Harris, went from the stage right to the plane from his show in Las Vegas and luckily, made it to Atlanta with time to spare. Our whole clan was together to see our beautiful healthy baby girl make her way into the world. Just the way I like it!!”

Tiny and her husband rapper, Clifford “T.I.” Harris have a total of now 7 children together, a true blended family. They are both parents to sons 10-year old King C’Andre Harris and 7-year old Major Philant Harris. They had a daughter, born stillborn at 6-months gestation that they named Lelah Amore, before Major. She is mom to 20-year old daughter recording artist Zonnique Jailee Pullins from a previous relationship. T.I. has two older sons, 15-year old Messiah Ya’Majesty Harris and 14-year old Domani Uriah Harris, and a 14-year old daughter, Deyjah Imani Harris.

No word yet on the name of the baby but we suspect a regal name given all the other children with royalty-themed names. And also considering the couple had a royal-themed baby shower earlier in the month.

Ivanka Trump Welcomes her Third Child

Congratulations to business mogul Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner on the birth of their third child, today.

The fashion designer shared a photo of herself in the hospital holding her newest son.

“Jared and I feel incredibly blessed to announce the arrival of Theodore James Kushner,” the businesswoman announced on Twitter. “Xx Ivanka.”

In fact, Ivanka and her husband were spotted enjoying brunch in the Big Apple earlier in the day, E!Online reports.

The couple are already parents to 2-year old Arabella Rose, 4, and 2-year old Joseph Frederick, 2.

Don’t Hate Model Bar ReFaeli for Having a Bump that looks Like Yours After a Good Meal

Houston, we have another model with a teenie tiny bump. Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli showed off her 5-months preggers bump on her Instagram this week.

And…um…let’s just say my belly looks like that after a good meal on a good day and I’m not preggers.

Refaeli, who announced her first pregnancy with her photographer husband Adi Ezra in January, is among the percentage of women who are either super tiny and/or have strong abdominal muscles and/or were so fit before getting pregnant that they hardly show. Besides, the size of the fetus is still pretty small at 25 weeks so it really isn’t any biggie.

I remember people gave Coco Austin a hard time for having a small bump, and that lingerie model too, who had a very small bump at 8 months pregnant.

These women also have to deal with people assuming they are starving their baby. Although, pregorexia is a real thing. Nevertheless, the fact remains every woman carries her pregnancy different and there have been tons of women who were that small at 5-months pregnant.

Inside Draya Michele’s Elegant Chinoiserie Chic Baby Shower

In keeping with our theme of showcasing Celebrity Baby Showers, next up is Draya Michele‘s elegant Chinoiserie Chic themed baby shower.

The event featured a photo booth and a step and repeat bearing the names of her swim suit line Mint Swim and her management team, Speed Limit Management, and the happy couple, Draya and Orlando Scandrick, cornerback for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

She looked gorgeous an elegant high waist white Grecian gown with her hair in a twist bun.

Michele’s 13-year-old son Kniko and Scandrick’s twin daughters from a previous relationship, six-year old Tatitana and Taylor attended.

Michele is the longest standing member of the VH1 Reality TV show Basketball Wives having been on it the longest and launched several brands from her new-found fame from the show. She recently told BET that she does not recommend doing reality TV because it “ruins relationships and families”, she said, adding that it takes a long time to repair your reputation after appearing on one. The actress also mentioned that only a sliver of women who do reality TV are able to transition to being successful afterwards.

Fortunately, Michele, who also told the network that she is ‘over’ the reality TV thing, is a big success case. She sold over $1M in Swimsuit, she recently told Forbes.com, and stars in the new romantic comedy The Perfect Match.

‘Sister Wives’: The VH1 ‘Love and Hip Hop: New York’ Edition

Love and Hip Hop New York star Peter Gunz is a daddy again. His longtime on again, off again girlfriend Tara Wallace gave birth to their third child together, a son, they named Gunner Ethan Panky. They are parents to 7-year old son Jamison and 3-year old son Kaz.

That was February 13 when they welcomed their new child but at the same time, his wife Amina Buddafly was probably also newly pregnant.

Rumors were swirling for weeks that Buddafly was pregnant. She finally confirmed the rumor and her pregnancy during the reunion show this week. This will be their second child together. They are parents to 2-year old daughter Cori. You do the math.

Buddafly addressed the critics of her decision to remain married and have a child with her husband and accusing her of getting pregnant to get back at Wallace.

“The is one reason and one reason only why I got pregnant again. Actually there is no “I” in this, its “WE”! But since i am the one carrying: “I Got pregnant again because I made love to the man I love.” Now y’all can debate on why we did it until ya hair turns grey.. I feel good knowing that WE know and you just ‘think’ you know… A baby does not keep a man and being spiteful does not make you a winner! This is not a game. This is my life. But No matter what the circumstances were and are, I now feel happy to be expecting again and even happier to know I have the best baby daddy I could ask for.@petergunz174 I love you 4ever and I will never be scared to show or say it because of people. #babyBX”

Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh and Wife Welcome Twin Boys, Lennox Avery & Phoenix Noel

Congratulations to Miami Heat NBA player Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne Bosh on the birth of their twin boys, Lennox Avery and Phoenix Noel, last week on March 15.

Chris announced the news on his Instagram account last week.

“I’m proud to announce the arrival of my new baby boys! I couldn’t be happier as a father and husband. My wife @mrsadriennebosh has been great through this whole process,” the proud dad wrote alongside a black-and-white Instagram of his new monogrammed bracelets featuring his sons’ names.

Adrienne shared a first glimpse of the boys on her Instagram account this week. And they were super sweet and tender.

Some of the photos of the boys’ first moments of life included a photo of Chris doing Kangaroo bonding with one of the boys, Lennox! So sweet!

The couple are already parents to 6-year old Trinity,Chris’ daughter from a previous relationship; and 3-year old Jackson and 2-year old Dylan Skye.

Adrienne shared some photos her sister’s photography company, April Belle Photos, took of the early days when the babies were still at the nursery or in the incubator and when they finally came home this week.

In October, Adrienne told PEOPLE that twins ran in their family’s lineage.

“Chris and I are so excited about having twins,” the boutique owner told the magazine back then. “The Bosh side of the family has two sets of twins, so they are overjoyed at the news of having another generation of them.”
