Whitney Port Cries About the Pain of Breastfeeding In New Video

The Hills alum Whitney Port is still keeping it 100 about her first time mom experience even after giving birth.

After welcoming her first child Sonny, Port is still vlogging her series, “I Love My Baby But…”. In her latest edition, the former star of the MTV reality Tv show The City talks about how painful it has been to breastfeee her child.

In a video posted on her YouTube page on Thursday, Port breaks down in tears over the pain which is very common even for new moms.

“I think I’m just tired,” she said. “And I obviously want to breastfeed. I don’t know [why]. I honestly think it’s, I guess because that’s what people say, like, is the best bonding experience.”

It has been a problem since the beginning apparently. Port said breastfeeding was difficult from the beginning.

“I thought I was doing really well and the nurses there said that the latch was good and I was like, really surprised but after about 24 to 48 hours of doing it, I just started to get so incredibly painful and we came home and I just like hit a breaking point and said, ‘I can’t do this. It feels like someone’s like, slicing my nipples with glass,'” Port said.

Whitney Port‘s baby boy has arrived—and not a moment too soon!

The fashion designer and former MTV reality star announced her son’s birth Monday. “So, I have some news,” she wrote. “No big deal, but I created another human being and then delivered him into the world at 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning.” This is the first child for Port and her TV producer husband Tim Rosenman, who tied the knot in 2015 after three years of dating.

Inside Whitney Port’s Baby Shower

MTV’s The Hills and The City alum Whitney Port and her husband Tim Rosenmann had a Shower in the City to celebrate their impending arrival.

Port’s sister and mom planned a coed shower that took place one evening mid June at the rooftop pool lounge Above Sixty at the Sixty Beverly Hills.

Her sis decked out the venue in a whimsical collection of unconventional flowers for the event.

“It was a very bohemian jungle desert kind of look — just what I love!” Port commented in a post on her blog about the celebration.

“We snacked on my new favorite snack, for Pure Growth Organic White Cheddar Popcorn, had a giant BBQ feast, followed by the yummiest ice cream sandwiches from Coolhaus for dessert.

“There were no games, no onesies, just everyone that Timmy and I love so much.

“I originally did not want a baby shower but now I am so happy that we did this.”

Nice. Love it!

Whitney Port Loves Her Baby, But Hates Pregnancy; the Focus of her New Vlog Series (WATCH)

TV and Lifestyle personality Whitney Port is keeping it real with her fans and followers by re-invigorated her 4-year old YouTube channel and launching a vlog series to document her pregnancy.

It’s called “I love my baby, but I hate my pregnancy” and through it, the former star of MTV‘s The Hills and The City, gives an unfiltered look into the highs and most of the lows and difficulties with her pregnancy. But don’t get it twisted. I don’t think she is complaining because I think she knows pregnancy is a blessing or fortunate thing that not all women who want to experience it can.

I do think Port just wants to connect to her pregnant sisters in the struggle. I get it. Her husband video tapes her, often times, in bed, without make up, eating yogurt, tossled hair and just giving it straight, no chaser.

“I am by no means telling you guys what to do, or how to deal with your pregnancy,” she says in her first vlog. “Just thought, from one pregnant woman to another, that it would be fun to share the journey with you.”

In episode one, she also shared the fact that the pregnancy was unexpected. She was preparing to have an MRI and was told that she couldn’t be pregnant so she decided to take a test. Chapter three was posted yesterday.

It’s really good, I think. I like and think it’s worth checking out because I appreciate honesty and candor. We’ve already seen the perfect nurseries, the gorgeous baby bumps, beautiful baby moons and high fashion maternity shoots most pregnant celebs share on their social media feeds. Good for Whit! Whitney Port’s Life is Perfect on Instagram; Pregnancy, Not so Much

Former reality TV show star of The Hills and The City, Whitney Port’s life is pretty rosy and beautiful by the looks of her Instagram page. It’s the quintessential lifestyle blogger profile.

However, the newly pregnant entrepreneur is getting real about carrying a baby.

“Pregnancy has not been easy for me,” she admitted. “I’m not going to say that it’s all glowy skin and sunshine and butterflies.”

But despite all the “weird things” happening to her body, and feeling “gross all the time” during her first trimester, she’s excited about what’s to come: “There’s a fine line between complaining and dealing with it,” she said. “I try to be positive, because it is such a wonderful thing.”

In a recent feature in Health.com, Port shares four tips that have helped her stay calm and balanced through the early stages of her pregnancy. They’re pretty good tips.

Port announced that she and her husband are expecting their first child in a humorous post on Instagram in February. It is the first child for them both.

Another ‘The Hills’ Alum is Expecting, Whitney Port this Time

Last month, I did a round up of all the female alums from the MTV reality TV shows Laguna Beach and its spinoff, The Hills who are now married with kids.

Whitney Port, who starred in two seasons of her own spinoff called The City and currently manages a lifestyle brand, was one of three who did not have a kid yet or wasn’t pregnant.

Little did I know back then that Port was pregnant but was still early. The rising fashion designer and QVC presenter just announced her pregnancy news this weekend on Instagram.

“Oh hey! Just standing by the window in my underwear, with a BABY in my belly,” she wrote alongside a Friday Instagram post. “DM me if you know what I’m supposed to do with this thing for how ever many years I’m supposed to be in charge.”

Cute!

Port is married to Tim Rosenmann, who was an associate producer on her show The City.

She also directed fans to her blog to a post titled, “WE’RE PREGNANT!!!”

Report: Kendrick Lamar and Fiance Whitney Alford Are Expecting First Child

Kendrick Lamar and his high school sweetheart and fiance Whitney Alford are reportedly expecting their first child together, The Shade Room reported back in July.

The couple got engaged back in 2015 but have been together for over 10 years and the multi-platinum, Grammy Award -winning artist calls her his

“best friend”.

“I wouldn’t even call her my girl,” Lamar told Billboard magazine . “That’s my best friend. I don’t even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion — she’s somebody I can tell my fears to.”

Alford is mos’ definitely one of his “Day 1”, a term for the friends and close acquaintances who have been around a now-famous person from the days before they were famous. Check out the pics from this collage of images collected by Media Take Out and Bossip from when the two were much much younger.

Congrats, if true! Neither have confirmed the news publicly and while Lamar has had several appearances and performances since the news, he has not appeared with his fiance in any public photos since then so who knows really?!

Report: Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are Expecting First Child

Sophie Turner is about to be a mom!

Multiple sources confirm to E! News that the Game of Thrones star is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Joe Jonas.

“The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them,” one source shared with JustJared who was first to report the news. Another insider added, “Sophie has decidedly been choosing outfits to wear on and off the carpet to accommodate her changing body.”

The couple’s last major public appearance together was at the 2020 Grammys where Sophie cheered on her husband during the Jonas Brothers‘ performance of “What A Man Gotta Do.”

Joe and Sophie surprised fans in May 2019 when they got married in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards. The duo enjoyed a second ceremony in France one month later.

Since then, the couple has continued to document their love story that includes everything from sweet social media posts, unforgettable vacations and red carpet date nights.

Kendrick Lamar and Fiancée Whitney Alford Welcome First Child

Congratulations to rapper Kendrick Lamar and his fiancee Whitney Alford who welcomed their first child together on July 26, US Weekly confirms.

No reports yet on the gender or name and don’t expect it soon either as they never addressed the pregnancy prior to the birth.

The famously intensely private couple have managed to successfully keep their relationship out of the public eye since meeting at Centennial High School in the Compton neighborhood of Oakland, California as kids.

They did step out for the Grammys last year, 2018, and in 2015, while promoting a project during an interview with The Breakfast Club, the “All the Stars” performer described his relationship with Alford.

“At the end of the day, you want to always, always have real people around you, period,” he opened up to the morning radio crew. “Whether it’s male or female, and everybody that’s been around me, they’ve been around since day one… I always show respect when respect has been given, and people that have been by your side, you’re supposed to honor that.”

Back in January 2015, he talked about their bond, saying, “I wouldn’t even call her my girl. That’s my best friend. I don’t even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion — she’s somebody I can tell my fears to.” He eventually confirmed their engagement that April, adding, “I’m loyal to the soil.”

Alford studied at California State University Long Beach before becoming a licensed aesthetician, EXTRA reports!

We’ve speculated once or twice , albeit wrongly, about these two being parents, so great to confirm it if finally true!
