RHOOC’s Meghan King Edmonds Does Her Own Beyonce Shoot

Because Beyonc’s 2017 exotic pregnancy shoot photos can never be parodied enough, BravoTV’s Real Housewives Of Orange County expecting star Meghan King Edmonds did it too, recently.

Why not? Edmonds too is expecting twins similar to Bey when she was shot on a car before a floral Frame.

Edmonds posted two photos of a shoot that looked exactly like the Queen B’s from February 2017 and some behind the scenes footage.

She did acknowledge the inspiration in the captions:

“If I Can’t be Queen Bey I’ll settle for King Edmonds #twinscomingsoon #imitationisflattery #thisIsNotMyMaternityShoot,” she wrote, adding, “Incredible photos and shoot organized by @heathermohrphotography #stlouismaternityphotographer fresh flowers by @awildflowershop makeup by @mwmakeupdesigns and hair (all those clip-in extensions!) by @salonmarosie (all your Stl needs!).”

Edmonds who is carrying twin boys and is mom to one year old daughter, announced this past January that she plans to retire from the Housewives series.

“After three seasons of the rollercoaster that is The Real Housewives of Orange County I’ve decided to hang up my OC Housewife hat,” she wrote in a blog post. “Filming is grueling.”

That Time Beyonce Decided to Become an Influencer Like The Rest of Us

I think I saw Kimberly Foster, creator and Editor in Chief  of For Harriet first tweet about how Beyonce is currently behaving like an Instagram Influencer like the rest of us with her recent posts. The Queen B is getting prepared to get in shape for her headlining of the annual California dessert music festival Coachella by going vegan for 44 days.

But she isn’t going alone. She invited some of her 112 Million friends who follow her on Instagram to come along to the journey. She tweeted out a photo of a meal and then another of her with her dancers with the caption,  “44 days until Coachella!! Vegan Time!! Click the link in my bio to join me!”

When you click the link, you are taken to a landing page which invites you to sign up. After signing up, you answer a series of questions about your appetite size, cooking habits, time allotment for prepping meals, dietary restrictions and whether you are cooking for yourself or a family. Based on your answers, the algorithm comes up with a series of vegan recipes that you can make  for $14 per month or$99 per year. That’s not bad for a full body transformation for me and my entire family.

And that…ladies and gentlemen is what we call “influencer marekting!” Get it! Bey! Flex those muscles, mama!

Celeb Parents at NBA’s All Star Weekend

This past weekend was a busy one with the BAFTA Awards, the Black Panther movie opening and the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend.

A couple of our current Bellyitch Bumpwatch mamas showed up and out including third-time mom-to-be Ayesha Curry who rooted on her husband Goldenstate Warriors star player Steph Curry as he lead Team Curry. They lost to our Bellyitch alum Savannah Brinson James‘ husband LeBron James team but that didn’t stop Ayesha from bigging up her man in an instgram post.

W my love celebrating last night. So proud of you,” the cook book author captioned a photo of herself in an AC/DC tee, casual sweats and a leather jacket with the 2017 NBA MVP crouching down giving her bump a kiss.

First time mom-to-be Khloe Kardashian attended the “Game is Everything” dinner kicking off the weekend with her beau Cleveland Cavalier  Tristan Thompson.

LeBron James was named All-Star MVP for the third time in his career this past weekend at the 2018 NBA All-Star game. James handpicked his team and then carried it to victory in a win for “Team LeBron” over “Team Stephen” on Sunday.

Kevin Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish Hart and kids were there as was Beyonce  taking selfies with daughter Blue Ivy Carter and mama Tina Lawson and her husband Richard Lawson nearby.

Fun Times! Congrats to Team LeBron!

Ciara Introduces Sienna Princes After Shielding Daughter’s Face From Public For Almost a Year

At a time and era when several celebrities successfully purposefully shield their babies’ faces from the media, pop singer Ciara has decided to share her daughter’s for the first time in a new app.

On Thursday, the Body Party singer introduced her daughter with NFL quarterback Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks on the app called TraceMe.

“I’m so excited to be opening up my world to you on TraceMe,” Ciara told fans who follow her on the app. “You guys know that I tend to be private with a lot of things, but with TraceMe I can have a genuine, unfiltered connection with you all.”

It also bucks the older tradition of having a big reveal on a magazine for millions of dollars given at one time, celebrities took home million+ dollar paydays for sharing their baby’s first photos.

Gone are those days because with the advent of social media, a lot of celebs are sharing their babies first pics with their fans directly, though not all.

http://bellyitchblog.com/2015/04/celebrity-moms-share-first-photos-of.html

Zoe Saldana, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland for the first year, Brit Rochelle Humes  and others didn’t open their children up to public scrutiny. Today, Keisha Knight-Pulliam still keeps her daughter Grace’s face from her social media feed.

We never have seen Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s children and most likely will never see them either. Given all the ridicule and shaming celebs like Tia Mowry received over her son, and Kimora Lee Simmons’ daughter Aoki Lee, we can see why.

Ciara explained why she chose to reveal.

“My motivation for this was to give back for all of your support throughout the years,” she explained. “We now have a special place where you can get to know more about me, and see all the fun things that go on with my music, my family, my fashion and so much more.”

The model and dancer has a 3 1/2 year old son named  Future Zahir Wilburn with her ex fiance hip hop performer Future.

Jessie James Decker’s New Video Ellicits Cheers and Criticism

Jessie James Decker

Second-time mom-to-be Jessie James Decker channels her preggers celeb fore-mothers in the video for her song, “Flip My Hair”.

In the video, the country singer is flanked by other expecting women with similar sized baby bumps, hair length and texture as Decker’s  dancing seductively in black unitards to her very catchy song. I love it!

It reminds me of the late Whitney Houston, Beyonce and Deborah Cox, other singers who each wore black turtleneck looks while about 6-months pregnant in their respective music videos of yesteryear.

Decker, who is married to NFL’s Tennessee Titans wide receiver Eric Decker,  said she loved the way she felt shooting the video.

“I’ve never felt sexier or more confident than I did during this music video shoot,” the country singer and reality TV show alum captioned a snippet of the video posted on her Instagram account. “I  wanted to showcase that no matter where you are at in your life, shape, or size you can exude that confidence and sexuality in your womanhood!”

“I wont dive deep into the meaning of the lyrics except that I’m sure you can figure out for yourself how I was feeling when I wrote this song! Now girls take any of that negativity or any of the haters and #flipyourhair (directed by @dallaswilson8) (written by me, @alyssabonagura and @micahwilshire) (produced by @danlordagee) (choreographed by @lifewiththewalkers).”

Video available on iTunes link in bio/ song available on album “southern girl city lights” at @Target exclusively ❤️. I knew I wanted to make a music video for this song as soon as I wrote it. When the question of “when” I wanted to shoot it came about, I thought to myself do I wait after I have the baby and get my body in perfect shape like I’m supposed to? Or do I just embrace where I am at my life, pregnant with my third baby? The answer came easily after sleeping on it. I said “we are shooting a music video even though I am six months pregnant and we will rock this shit!” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve already read some of your comments stating that it’s weird or it makes you uncomfortable or that other successful country female artists would never do this. Well if it makes you uncomfortable then that’s your own issue. As far as other successful country artists not doing this? You’re damn right… I am my own artist and I will continue to express myself in my own way. I’ve never felt sexier or more confident than I did during this music video shoot. I wanted to showcase that no matter where you are at in your life, shape, or size you can exude that confidence and sexuality in your womanhood! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I wont dive deep into the meaning of the lyrics except that I’m sure you can figure out for yourself how I was feeling when I wrote this song! I am here for it.

We saw quite a few haters in the captions to the video who obviously do not appreciate the fact that pregnancy doesn’t stop a woman from feeling sexy or expressing her sensuality.

She looks great and the video is so fun and it looks like they had a great time producing it.

Others criticized her for not having racial diversity among the other women in the video with her.

I don’t know about that.

In fact, I think she needed to have other women who look like her because perhaps the video director was aiming for a look like Beyonce’s in her 2011 Countdown video she did  while 6-months pregnant with her daughter Blue Ivy.

The monolithic series of Bey in a row like here have a very explicit visual effect:

Decker and her dancers even start in chairs, similar to how Bey ends her video tho no shade because even Mrs. Knowles’ video was accused of being  rip off of choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s work. All work is inspired by others, right?

NEW: Jay Z Drops Visually-Stimulating Celeb-Studded Futuristic Video for ‘Family Feud’ (PHOTOS and VIDEO)

If you follow this blog, you know I am a die-hard Beyonce, also a Jay and Bey fan and a fangirl of sci-fi and action movies so, I was quite geeked to immediately open up and peep the brand new video for Jay Z‘s song “Family Feud” off of his 444 album which melds all of my faves into one fantastical, visually-stimulating treat.

And I must say, the cinematography is on point….

All the Yeses to the Ava DuVernay-directed futuristic video which gives me “Black Panther” vibes, because it is set the year 2444 in a universe where Power‘s Omari Hardwick is the co-President of the Free World and is the direct descendant of the matriarch of a fantastical diverse group of women, dubbed the Fore-mothers, who re-configured the US Constitution in the year 2050 along with a pact called the “Confessional Papers”, per the prose in the video.

ETA: the director explained the video:

Yes to the union of leaders led by a character played  by a then-pregnant Mindy Kaling and featuring council members portrayed by ….

Claws‘ Neicy Nash, Angie Tribeca and Parks & Recreation‘s Rashida Jones, Room‘s Brie Larson, Marvel’s Luke Cage and The Defenders‘ star Rosario Dawson, trans advocate, journalist and and social commentator  Janet Mock, who are among the women who are tasked to lead the effort to set the world straight — as it should be because you know, given this “Me Too” era in the nation (and world), it really will take a small army of Women to do the job.

Fresh Off the Boat‘s Constance Wu

The Office’s Rashida Jones and Rosario Dawson, who stars in Marvel’s The Defenders, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage

All the celebrities who made cameos shared behind-the-scenes photos from filming once the video was released exclusively on Tidal.

This is far from JAY-Z’s first video featuring some Hollywood heavyweights.

He previously dropped the Friends-inspired clip for “Moonlight” with Tessa Thompson, Tiffany Haddish, Jerrod Carmichael and Issa Rae as well as the Lupita Nyong’o-starring “MaNyfaCedGod” and “Adnis” starring Mahershala Ali.

JAY-Z’s 18th studio album, 4:44, recently received eight Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.
