What Celebrity Moms shared on Social Media this Week

This week, as usual, some of our Bellyitch BumpWatch moms-to-be and alums shared some great pics in social media giving their fans and followers insight into their lives. 



Vanessa Lachey is a pretty second time mom-to-be.



Kelly Rowland had a fab #TBT photo of herself looking very much like the late Donna Summer. 


Tori Spelling was doting sharing pics of her growing four children. 
Tamera Mowry-Housley was  gorgeous and giving face. 
And showing off some new pony tail hair. 



Savannah Guthrie was also showing off her brand new baby.



Vanessa Simmons is another new mom who looked fab after baby this year.



Holly Madison‘s daughter rainbow is super gorg!



Lil Kim was performing in Brooklyn.



Kim Kardashian West looked amaze-balls while attending Milan fashion week with her husband Kanye West.

Bill Clinton reveals Chelsea Clinton is due any day now

Former US President Bill Clinton leaked that he and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be grandparents by October 1.
During an interview this Sunday with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Clinton said that “we’re on watch now,” referring to his daughter Chelsea Clinton who is expecting her first child with her husband Marc Mezvinsky. “I hope by the first of October, I’ll be a grandfather.”
On Sunday,   Chelsea tweeted a photo of herself with her parents at the “Clinton Global Citizen Awards.”
The couple have decided to not find out the baby’s gender.

Tyler Perry confirms he is expecting; but with his Ethiopian model girlfriend?

At director Tyler Perry’s 45th birthday celebration this weekend, during which Stevie Wonder performed, Perry announced to friends that he will be a dad soon, Bossip reported.

He did not mention with whom, neither confirmed if it is with his on-again-off-again Ethiopian girlfriend, model and philanthropist, Gelila Bekele.

Congrats to him and whomever he is expecting with!

Alicia Keys poses nude with a public service message

Alicia Keys became the latest in a slew of celebrity women to pose nude while pregnant but Keys’ share on her Instagram account this Saturday was for a good cause. 
In the pic with her only covering her bare breasts with her hands, the singer-songwriter plugged her new world peace campaign linked to her latest song and hashtag movement, #WeAreHere.
“‘It’s you and me on a mission to create a kinder and more peaceful world’: Alicia Keys posted this photo of her bare pregnant tummy on Saturday with a peace sign painted on it to help promote the #WeAreHere Movement,” she captioned the photo. 
Keys and her husband producer/ recording artist Swizz Beatz are expecting their second child. The my are parents to their 3-year old toddler Egypt. The couple announced the news this past July. Keys is 8 months preggers.

Shield your bump like Carrie Underwood in a peplum waist top

If you want to playfully shield a burgeoning bump from onlookers -because you haven’t announced your pregnancy yet, or you have but want to avoid bump gawkers, do like Carrie Underwood did when she accepted the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award at the 8th Annual ACM Honors at the Ryman Auditorium on September 9, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Go with a peplum top or a dress with a peplum waist element to it to shield the belly. It worked well for Underwood, who recently announced she and hubby Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together.

TREND ALERT: Flash Tattoos as rocked by Beyonce and other celeb moms

Several of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums have been spotted recently sporting the Flash Tattoo Trend. Seen often in recent days on Beyonce, and in Jessica Alba‘s instagram  feed as well as young Hollywood stars like Vanessa Hudgens  (all above), these temporary metallic tattoos are inspired by jewelry.
They last only 6 days and are great too for preginistas who are trendy but certainly cannot and should not be getting any new ink while preggers.  
You can wear them solo or along with real jewelry to create a layering effect. Here are our fave designs.

This Week’s Celebrity Mom Selfie Showdown

Finally, not a selfie but posted  Zoe Saldana recently shared a pic of herself with her sister Cicely Saldana taken at the Hispanic Heritage foundation awards where Zoe was given an award for her advocacy and charity work. Kudos.

Also, engaged in Charity this week, was Kerry Washington, who shared a photo of herself in a shirt with the words “It’s on Us“, a new campaign the Obama administration is promoting that encourages men and women to stop sexual assaults, especially on college campuses where it is a wide-spread occurrence.
